Take a look at the menus here and at allears.net to see which menu appeals to you. Citrico's and Narcoossees are Signature restaurants and they are only open for dinner. As such, they are also more expensive and if you are on the DDP they require 2 TS credits per person.
The Grand Floridian Café is a casual restaurant and it gets good reviews.
It really depends on what you want. All of them are nice
I agree with the PP. Look at the menus for selections and pricing, then decide which is appropriate for your family. If you have picky eaters, 1900 Park Fare is a character buffet, so should have some basic foods that might appeal to them.
I also agree w/ PPs. We've eaten at all of them (except V&A). I'm not a fan of 1900 Park because I find it loud and chaotic. But that's just my opinion. The buffet itself was varied and good. We recently ate again at the Café for lunch and for dinner and had very good experiences. Narcoossee's and Citrico's each have their own "feel," but are each very good. Just depends on the experience you want.
Agree given the variety of your party--something there for everyone--and the character interactions are among the best on property. It is buffet food, but better than most in the World.
As people have said, if you are set on lunch Grand Floridian Café is your only choice. We had dinner there once and it was VERY good. The restaurant is very pretty and the food was delicious.
When are you going and would the children enjoy a princess lunch? Cinderella's Royal Table is closed until March 4th (I believe) and breakfast and brunch have been moved to Citricos temporarily. Other than that, I agree the cafe would be a good choice.
My favorite restaurant at the GF and among my favorite in all WDW is Narcoossee's; however, in your case it may not be your first choice (but then again it could be, don't want to be presumptuous). I personally think the food at Grand Floridian Cafe is much better than the buffet food served for the masses on steam tables like that at 1900 Park Fare. IMHO, when it came to buffet food it was among the lowest of all Disney buffet offerings; Only Chef Mickeys, IMHO was lower. But with that said, the character interaction was absolutely phenomenal and perhaps the best I have ever experienced at a Disney character restaurant. The kids would love it. So with that said, if you want to go for food quality only then in my opinion the GFC is the clear winner. If you want a memorable and fun character experience with very average food, 1900 PF would be that choice.
