My wife, three daughters and I are going to stay at the FW Cabins in Spring break 2007. Which Loop and which cabins numbers should we ask for in making our reservation in two weeks. We will be getting a golf cart and we will have our own car.

Many people recommend the 2500 loop, as it is close to a bus stop, the quiet pool, and the laundry for the cabins. That said, I have stayed (and loved) the 2100 loop. With a golf cart I don't think you can go wrong. We drive to parks other than MK, but are seasoned WDW veterans.

Remember to bring small cups for the bathroom, salt and pepper, and perhaps a cookie sheet if you think you'd like to warm up a frozen pizza or bake ready-made cookies.

Also visit the Camping Board here on the DIS where you will find other posts about cabins.

Loop 2700 and 2800 is the farthest away from everything. I have stayed in loop 2100 three times, 2300 and 2600, My favorite was 2300 it was not a big loop, 2600 was a little walk to the bus, but I enjoyed it, you will enjoy the golf cart it is especially nice to drive the cart down to the marina to catch the boat to Magic Kingdom or near the guest services where the buses are . We used our rented car to go to the winn dixie and super walmart for all our food, very nice, Enjoy your trip and hope you like the cabins, I Love them! I am going next week cabins were sold out so staying at French Quarter.

PS, they provide a big throw away cookie sheet you can wash and reuse:)

We stayed in 2400 and that was nice, I think you would be hard pressed to find a bad spot in the whole place. I spent a lot of time before our first ever trip this past June looking at maps and talking to the staff of ft. W on the phone and when I got there I discovered that there really isn't a bad spot in the place.

I wish I was going again soon. I am trying my best to save every penny so that I can afford it in 2007.

We were in 2500 loop, which is right next to the laundry and pool. We loved it. We had cabin 2514, which was close to the bus stop, but not too close. Kept the noise from buses down. It was handi-cap accessible, and a bit of a fluke as we took it because our cabin was not ready at 8 am when we checked in. ( I think we were to have a number under 10.) It worked well for us as we could roll our stroller in the door. :)
You will LOVE the Fort. Have a great time.
