Hi,

We're thinking about renting Sunday, Nov. 27 - Sat. Dec. 3, 2006. Since this is in 2 different 'seasons', what $$/points do we pay/use??

Do they just charge the higher amount for November, and the cheaper for December? It'd sure be great if you could get the cheaper rates from the beginning of December!

Thanks!

Confused are you are member? :confused3 Are you talking about renting points or using points? It doesn't seem you have had any DVC stays from your signature line. If using points they charge points based on the season. If you have 3 days in one season they charge that amount. If the other 4 days are in another seasnon those 4 days will use that seasons point amounts. Renting is so much per point decided between the owner and the renter. Most people charge by the point not based on season. Hope this helps.

With cash reservations booked thru CRO, the rate is determined by the season when you check in at the resort. The entire stay will be at that rate.

With DVC point reservations, the point needs are determined by each night of the stay.

To determine the points needed for particular stay, you can look at the DVC Point Charts at the top of the page. Use the point "cost" for each night of the reservation if it involves more than one "season".

Good luck with your rental! :)

Sorry, it's been so long since I've posted. I didn't explain myself.

We have rented points before and would like to again from Nov. 27 - Dec. 3. The difference in the # of points is really minimal. I was just curious, though, if a stay like that would fall under Adventure or Choice Season, or 1/2 in each? I gather from your answer that it is 1/2 in each.

Thanks so much!

Just remember that DVC stays are not based on any season - only on the point cost for each individual night of the stay.

Enjoy your trip!
