Which flight would be better traffic wise?

I am looking at one way flights from Long Beach airport on a weekday and was wondering if anyone knows which flight would be better? One that leaves at 8:12 am or 10:15 am? At this point my sole concern is traffic going to the airport and then back to the parks. Part of my group is possible going home early.

Getting to the airport for an 8am flight would be better because there will be less traffic at 7am, but there will be a noticeable difference going back after 7:30 or so. For a 10:15 flight you'll have to leave earlier, but by 10:45-11-ish should be less going back. If you're only worried about traffic, take the earlier flight and drop off extra early to avoid some of the traffic going back to the resort.

I'd go with the 8:12am flight.
Map the route out for both going on surface streets and the freeways.

We flew into LBG for our last trip.
Flight arrived about 9:15am on a Wednesday. The taxi driver took surface streets from LGB to DLR. It was an easy trip.
Departure flight was Saturday, we left DLR at 4:30pm. For the return trip to LGB the driver took the freeway. It seemed to take a few minutes more.

Both routes the traffic was moving fine.

Thanks guys. We are now also considering a later flight as well for the afternoon. I will be switching hotels this day at some point too . . . haven't made that decision either. Lol

Well, we chose a flight that leaves about 3. My son is now going home with DH and this way they will get to go to the parks in the morning. Now I just need to chose a hotel for me and my other two kids to stay at. Thinking about using price line but not sure if I want to do that or not.
