Which fireworks/parade/show dinner packages are a must?

Are there any packages that you get because either the viewing is so spectacular, a time saver or the food is that good? IE Fantasmic Dinner, Wishes Dessert Party, etc? Are some not worth it because you use a FP instead? DD is REALLY into shows. We live in the NH and when we visit my mom in MA she always wants to visit this furniture store that has a water show (music, water, lights, etc) It lasts 10 minutes and she could wait for hours for the next showing and it's probably a yawn compared to the WDW shows. I just don't know if it's worth the money to have a better viewing.

Background I will be staying at the Polynesian so I am hoping we will have good viewing for some things on the beach. I am not on the dining plan so everything is OOP and we may not hit HS. If that matters. Thanks!

Well we have yet to go there but have plans to go there this coming trip in April. But the desert party is suppose to be really cool and all the deserts they have look amazing! Every time I take my older son to 1 of the special events. Just me and him. It's our special time. This year we have passes for the desert party. Last year we did the pirate and pals cruise which was also a lot of fun.

We did the Fantasmic dinner twice - it is nice to be able to get the priority seating at the show.
