My DH, DS and I are going for Christmas-time this year and we have several attractions to check off our list! I have been on everything at some point in my life, but my DS (11) has missed all of these!

Alice in Wonderland
it's a small world
Mad Tea Party
Peter Pan's Flight
Pinocchio's Daring Journey
Snow White's Scary Adventures

We will only have 2 days in the parks this trip, but want to hit at least 2 of these. I'm already planning to force him on to IASW this trip, but in your opinion, which of the these must be done and why?

Peter Pans flight for sure, it's so well done!!! I'd probably also vote for Snow White. In fact I'd take any of those other rides over It's a Small World. Trust me. Cheese cheese cheese and that song will stick in your head FOREVER!

Why only limit yourself to 2 of these? If you are there at rope drop and can get right on Pan, then you should be able to hit them all in less than 1 hour.

Peter Pan and Alice are the 2 best of the classic dark rides IMO.

I was going to say the same thing. As a matter of fact, you can pretty-much do all of these anytime during the day. Pan can have up to 45 minute wait during the busy periods, and a typical long line for Alice is 30 minutes. All of the others can be less than 10 minutes, or even walk-on throughout the day.

I guess I'd also have to say Peter Pan & Alice from that list. But I didn't see Mr. Toad's on your list. It's great too if you have a chance.

Peter Pan and Alice. Alice is great at night, because the park looks so lovely when you come out on the vine.
This is my exact thoughts as well. We love Alice at night, we almost always try to get in line right before the park closes to catch one more ride. Also, Pan will have the new upgrades so it is also a must see.

I would say Peter Pan and Alice also. And nix IASW. That is the worst ride in DLR and a total waste of time.

That's my thought as well. I hit all of them every trip. Some of them more than once. IASW can be done a few times in a day as there are several times during the day when the lines are shorter (mornings and evenings), and even with a long line it moves fast so as long as you skip the busiest part of the day it is easy to fit this one in. PP is the hardest to get in because the line forms so quickly and stays at 45 + min most of the time. So hit that first thing at rope drop (make sure its not an EE day) and then head to the others right after.

Thank you everyone for your suggestions! We have done Mr. Toad's Wild Ride before, as that is one of my favorites from my childhood. And honestly, i'm only making him go on IASW as punishment for a couple of bad school reports this last year! :P I'm not a fan either......

In a perfect world (which for me would mean a 5-day park hopper), we would do all of them, but we will only have 2 days in the parks this trip. I think we will shoot for entry at rope drop, start with Peter Pan and Snow White and then try to hit Alice that evening.

Another one we have missed is Little Mermaid in DCA. Is that any good?

I agree, about riding all of of them. Usually, dumbo, Peter Pan, and storybook land canal boats are the ones I see with big lines....usually the others just seem like a 10 minute ride at least the times I've gone. However, if for some reason you can't do all I'd say do Peter Pan and Snow White or Alice.

If you are trying to save time, I would still do Alice in the morning after PP. Unless you can hop in line RIGHT after the fireworks, Alice's line will still be quite long in the evening. Morning will be shortest. The Little Mermaid is a pretty good dark ride and even on busy days the line won't be very long because it's a continuous loader like Buzz and Haunted Mansion.

Unless this has changed in the last 2 years I wouldn't waste time on Snow White in the morning. I have never seen a long line at Snow White. Its usually a very short wait or walk on when I have been (which has included busy and slow times). But its also the FL ride that we enjoy the least so we sometimes skip it all together. What gets us on it at all is the short wait when everything else near it is busy.

All the hate for IASW! That's the one ride I MUST ride every trip :P

Of the other choices -I love Peter Pan and Alice.

Pinocchio usually has a short line as well.

I think you could do all of them in a reasonable time with some planning. We found that Alice, for example, is almost a walk-on during the fireworks, but at least 30 minutes at all other times.
