I think I've read on here that it's hard to hold onto a baby and ride Peter Pan, so I'm wondering which of the Fantasyland rides would be best for a 9 month old.

Either
Peter Pan
Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh
Dumbo

Also, I love the carousel- is that going to be hard?

Thanks :p

I think all three of those would be fine plus many others. AT MK she can do snow white, small world, Pirate's cruise, Jungle Cruise, the indy cars, Buzz, the river boat, haunted mansion and some I am forgetting. Anything with out a height restriction should be fine. Lots at the other parks too. Have a blast with your little one.!!!

I don't see why Peter Pan would be hard to hold onto a baby. We've done WDW with babies and went on anything that didn't have a height restriction. Heck, I took my 15 month old on the family raft ride in BB...he was just tall enough for the chair lift so up we went!! The only thing I can think of that might be difficult to hold on is the safari ride at AK.

I'm with the above replies...I take mine on anything without a height restriction! At Christmas we had a 9-month-old with us (tiny little one...size of a 6-month-old) and she did everything without a height restriction. I see no problems holding them on any ride listed above! Don't know if the 9mo did the safari, as we split up that day, but my 16-month-old did!

My 13 month old enjoyed small world the most, and wasn't scared on anything. I did make DH hold her on Peter Pan, though. We had no problems. She slept through a lot of the rides, since we got up early 3 times for EE, then did a character meal. Funny how she never slept through the meals...LOL! Anything she slept through we did twice more for her sake.

Just got back with a 8 1/2 month old. we went on EVERYTHING except the height restricted ones. I actually had her in a carrier..strapped onto me (a hip hammock), but it was not necessary. It just freed up my hands so that I could attend to my 3 yo too. I'd put my 3 yo on a horse on the carousel & then hop onto the horse beside her with my infant strapped to my chest. We all had a great time. The baby was easier to take to the parks than the 3 year old actually. The baby really loved all the rides too. GREAT FUN!!!

Rode Dumbo...carousel....teacups....snow white...pooh...Small World (her absolute favorite).....Haunted Mansion....TTA....no problems whatsoever.

I've taken DD-13 months on almost every ride without a height restriction (including KS, several times) over the past few months. Never had any problems, but I do carry her in a sling. It keeps her snug and prevents squirminess.:D

Total agreement here - no problem on Peter Pan. Dd rode everthing without a height restriction at 10 months and had a blast. I have a great picture of her dh and older dd on Dumbo from that trip. She loved the snugli and dh and I took turns wearing her as well as using the stroller. The sling/snugli IMHO is invaluable for lines and attractions where you can't bring the stroller.

At this age we even took her on POC, HM and the Malestrom in Norway - she didn't mind the darK and was to young to be afraid.

Last Aug my DS 9mths went on everything her could including the safari. He had no problems on any ride.

This has nothing to do with Fantasyland, but I just wanted to throw in the TTA in Tomorrowland. This would be a very nice ride for you to go on with your child.

Our daughter was 10 mos. last Sept. when we went and she did everything we did. We don't do roller coasters or the like so that wasn't an issue. Her favorite was Small World. She would just look and look at all the dolls. She did fine on POTC and PP with me holding her. We didn't do HM because our 3yo wouldn't do it. I'm sure the baby would've been fine.
