Which eating utensil is your favorite?

Some days random, strange things come up while riding in the car. Todays random thought was about eating utensils. My oldest dd said she really does not like spoons and thinks she could live without them. lol Following that deep comment my dh decided that should be some kind of poll. So here goes..

I suppose my favorite is the fork. It's good for a lot of things like cutting, stabbing meat etc.

It's like a spoon with prongs, and it's amazing for eating soup with big chunky bits of chicken or veg in it. Genius!

I like spoons. I like foods that are typically eaten with spoons, like soup, soupy casseroles, and of course, ice cream.

They have to be regular cereal spoons though. DH eats with the bigger spoons, the ones we call table spoons, although I'm not sure what you're supposed to use them for. Those are too big for my mouth.

If you only had forks, there'd be stuff you couldn't eat.

Kermit you have a point. Its hard to eat soup or get out all the yummy juice with a fork. I think I might be changing my mind.

My DH does this too and it drives me crazy!!! I can't imagine eating stuff with a table spoon. DH uses them for cereal, soup, ice cream, and everything else. I usually use them as serving spoons.

I voted the spoon because I think it is more multi-purpose. Stuff you can eat with a fork can either be scooped up or picked up. As for the knife....who really needs it? Just pick that steak up and start eatin'.

I prefer spoons, unless it's Chinese food, then I gotta have wooden chopsticks (my local take out only has plastic ones, and I always have to ask for them, they usually give me a plastic fork instead).
