if your staying for a week and want to stay just at that resort and not rent a car and are reservations required in advance of your trip for each especially , dinner reservation. Meaning which of the dvc resorts are the best all inclusive resort, meaning you do not desire to go elsewhere for amenities, restaurant on site, a snack bar by the pool and a grocery store.

You can always use WDW transportation which really is pretty reliable and good.
I would say the least is OKW. But even that is not bad.
At BWV you would have the Boardwalk restaurants to select from, and a short walk away is Epcot. And after that the monorails to MK. :cutie:
At SSR you have a nice counter service and a good sit down. Plus DTD is a short boat ride away. :thumbsup2

If possible, having dinner res is always good. You just don't necxessarily Have to Have them 100+ days out depending on your flexibility.

I would say that the WLV has good choices. You can eat at WCC, or you can take the boat over to Trails End. You can also take the boat to the CR and eat there, or hop on the monorail to eat at Poly/GF. Alot of choices and easy transportation.

I would say BW or BC...you have Spoodles, Flying Fish, ESPN Club, Big River Brew, all right there. Or, you can walk over to the S/D and use their great restaurants, or over to YC/BC....Yachtsman Steakhouse as well as the other spots. Then, if you want to use park entry, you have all of World Showcase to choose from.

I like AKL, never stayed there but would love to. It has a huge food court, which I love, Boma, and Jiko. There's also a great pool and the animals to see. It is also the only Deluxe that does not share a bus with another resort (this applies to the villas too.)

I have only stayed at SSR last Xmas and I thought the food was great. The CS was excellent with everything cooked to order. We ate at Turf Club 3 times on the DDP and loved it. Had originally booked 1 meal but cancelled other ADRs so we could go back. Also DTD is a lovely walk or boat ride away so you have loads more resturants to choose from. We also loved the pool area. I would not hesitate to stay there again.

All the DVCs offer a small grocery area in their stores.

For the most choices in food, I'd agree BWV is the best. But BCV is a short walk across the waterway & if you're up for a short boat ride from either resort, you just can't beat the choices in Epcot :thumbsup2 The issue here, last I recalled were that for window choices you had the pool snack bar (when it was open), the pizza window and the bakery. ~However~ Beaches & Cream is by BCV and has the best burgers on site.

OKW is very spread out and if you don't have a vehicle all the bus riding can get to you even just for a quick visit to the store or main pool. We tried it, had wegoshop deliver our food, LOVED the room, but still won't be returning here without a car.

WLV has the two resteraunts and a snack bar, and a short boat ride away you have Trails End and HDDR at Ft W. and all the food choices at the contemporary. I will say, it's nice to take the monorail over to a park after an early dinner.

I also say BWV, they have some GREAT places to eat, and IMO, the best atmosphere

Oh, I could eat at Whispering Canyon several times in a week!!!
