Which DVC Resort Do You Recommend

Will you have a car? It makes a big difference, especially if you are expecting to take mid-day breaks. That's going to take a good chunk of your day at OKW. It's totally do-able without a car for at least one of your days at BWV, BCV and BLT (RIV too).

With a baby that needs naps or at least downtime, I would say OKW is too hard because of the buses and spread out nature of the resort. Lots of waiting for bus and folding everything up every time you are on or off. Depends on your personality. With my kids, I didn't like extra "work" on vacation if I could avoid it. 8-)

We do love Copper Creek. The boat ride always amazes my kids and it's very relaxing. The bus was not a long wait for other parks, although I know that can fluctuate.

I also agree with whoever mentioned a Boardwalk hotel - great location!!!

Since you're familiar with FtW, have you considered Copper Creek?

Also quiet but in the main lodge, unlike the older DVC there, BRV, which is about to undergo renovation.

Kids tend to love the CCV/WL atmosphere. Heck, *I* like the little lobby footbridge.

The boat to MK--similar to the FtW one, a relaxing ride.
CCV for this summer unless it's a confirmed booking would be a miracle.

Same with BWV.

All of spring and summer are within 7 months at this point, so availability is pretty wretched.

Older rooms for sure but looks like BRV just released a decent amount of availability for June. If willing to sacrifice updated rooms for location this far into the booking window it might be worth looking into.

No car. I'm not really sure what to expect with a baby in regards to how many days will be a mid-day break vs an early night or late morning. I don't expect or plan on baby taking all the naps in a stroller.

If you are not going to have a car, I would rule out ssr and okw. You said you stayed in a cabin? The layout would be similar to that without a car, meaning it could be a far walk to the stores, food areas, etc.
As posted, brv just opened up a lot of rooms. That might work better for you,

The easiest would be the Grand Californian. The rooms are right adjacent to the parks. Excellent for mid day breaks

You know about the baby care centers in each park, right?

Never been in one! My oldest was 3 when we first went - so didn't use it. Are they amazing?
In a word, YES! When our two oldest were little we were DL APers we'd stop in on the way out of the park every time and get them changed into jammies because w knew they'd fall asleep in the car on the way home. Even if you just want a little quiet time though - it's pretty amazing Disney thought to include such a simple little thing. LegoLand has them too.
