which dvc in august?

Any opinion on which dvc would work best in the hot weather of august? BLT pool was too packed last time we went in august. SSR can be hot walking to pool and buses if far away although kids loooved it there. And walking to epcot and HS from boardwalk seems too hot with a 9 and 7 year old in the hot weather? I heard VWL is ironically a good pic because of all the trees?
