Which documents to show when?

I'm trying to organize our cruise documents and have them at the ready when we sail on the Dream in 3 weeks. It's been 16 years since we sailed on our first Disney cruise (Magic) so I've forgotten the process.

When arriving at the port, which documents do they need to see before we drop off bags and park in the terminal?

When checking in, I show them our passports and signature page. Anything else that needs to be turned in or filled out?

Finally, I missed the 30 day cut off for submitting the form for requesting distilled water for my DH's CPAP. Do I let them know at the check in desk at the terminal or at guest services on board?

TIA

I've never had to send in a form. I just call them and they add the distilled water to our reservation. Easy. (even with a TA I call them direct, tell them what I need, and THEN give them reservation info.)

When arriving at the port we just tell them our stateroom number. The porters haven't needed anything from us.

Have your ID ready when you turn into Disney property. You may or may not need it at that moment but be prepared depending on
where they direct you to. Have the green "George Washington" documents ready for the porter, lol.

You'll be asked your room # and to show ID at the gate before entering the terminal.

In the terminal in addition to your documents, etc. you'll also be asked to fill out and sign health form (very short one page) to hand in as well.

As for missing the 30 day form you mentioned, I would call DCL today and ask them what is now best to do in that regard. Bon voyage.

At port arrival you will need your ID, cabin number and they will check to see who is traveling with you in the vehicle and make sure that they are listed as well. I usually roll the windows down so that they can see the kids (the windows are tinted really dark) :)

Then at the luggage area, have some cash for the porters as they take your bags. And make sure that ANY medications (that you might need before) ID, passports etc are in your carryon and NOT in checked luggage but with you in a carryon.

Have your carryons ready to be run thru the machine and take phones, car keys, sunglasses etc off and put them in the tray when you get to that point. Your bags will be scanned while you walk thru the metal detector and it is really sensitive. My husband was wearing a hat with a metal insignia that set off the machine the first time, now he takes that off as well. :)

Once inside and checking in you will need your ID and passport/birth certificates (whatever you are using for citizenship) as well as a health form that they typically pass out in line verifying that you or anyone in your party has not been sick in the last 48 hours. (vomiting, fever, etc) really short form.

That should do it.

Once obboard, your KTTWC has everything encoded in it for you to use on the ship. BUT when you go on excursions you will need to bring your KTTWC and ID for adult members of your excursion party to get back on the ship. Including Castaway Cay.

Have a great cruise!
