Which Disney ride would you get rid of and why?

i can't think of any ride i would get rid of but i know one ride i would revamp: snow white's scary adventure. first, i would take the scary part out of the title to not frighten children. second, i would liven up the ride but adding some special effects and using animatronics to give the ride more personality. i would do it like the many adventures of winnie the pooh but in the theme of snow white.

Star Tours...maybe. A bad ride at Disney is a GREAT ride ANYWHERE else!!!!

Ditto!
Kinda hard to tell a child it's not a scary ride when it's in the name of the ride itself! My youngest finally rode it and deemed it not "scary" (and she's the biggest chicken out there!) but she had to be talked into it because a sibling said the NAME of it. LOL

I just call it snow white's adventure... but I guess they put the scary in there to warn people it's slightly scary for young children? dark/etc? But hey, they don't put scary in the name of other rides that may be scary to people. Maybe because it's in Fantasyland with all the kid rides? *shrugs*

Get RID of a ride? Well that would be a toughy... I can't think of any I'd get rid of but I can think of a few I'd like to come back! LOL

Not crazy about the old Alien Encounter, or the new Stitch's Great Escape either.

It's a Small World.

Got stuck on it when I was 12 and that song still haunts me.

Think i'd miss CoP the least, but maybe I just don't get it as much cos i'm from England who knows lol

I think free headphones should be given compulsory when you go on it's a small world cos being stuck on that ride is the most soul destroying thing lol

I would have to say the Body Wars and Star Tours attractions. The technology is so dated on both, and there could be so much more that could be done with the concepts of both. Haven't we all had enough of the whole watching a grainy movie while sitting in a martini shakers? It just doen't cut it anymore. And to be honest, I refuse to beleive that they are etched into anyone's greatest Disney memories.

I'd probably get rid of Sounds Dangerous. Disney could probably do something a lot better than that.

It's not a ride but I would get rid of the Time Traveller one across from Stitch. It's usually not open anyway. Did they finally close it for good?

Am I the only person on these boards who really enjoys Sounds Dangerous? Its a sensory experience that you can't get anywhere else in WDW. The only thing that comes close is in Animal Kingdom (I don't remember what its called) where the tree from Pocohantas narrates the Sounds of the Jungle.

Anyway, not to derail, I would probably get rid of that Aladdin's Magic Carpet ride in Adventureland, its too much like a carnival ride.

No, I REALLY enjoy it too....it's a great place for a midafternoon nap (just remove those annoying headsets... :music: ). Just wish the chairs were a little more comfy..

Not a ride--but I would get rid of Stitch's great escape. I thought it a waste of time and not much of an attraction. My comment after exiting was that it was dumb.

I do not like the speedway either.

So I guess that means i have nothing original to add (or actually--take away LOL!)

It's a Small World. I can't stand the song and all the dolls make it the most boring, irritating ride ever. I suffered through with my boys when they were 3 1/2 and almost 6 and none of us wanted to ride it again and we haven't. I am so not a girl's mom.

I would have to say the Swiss Family Robinson Treehouse...

Now I say to you,,,after walking about 6 miles a day, why would you want to climb that dumb tree anyhow...
should be revamped..

hey how about an escalator????

It's not really a ride, but I wouldn't shed any tears if they got rid of SWISS FAMILY TREEHOUSE.

Gotta agree with you on this. We used a fastpass and I was glad that I did not have to wait in an hour long line. What a waste. When it was over I turned to my DH and said what was the point of this? Could have done something much better I think.

As for the speedway. It is okay, but the lines are always so long and you have the sun beating down on you. Come on people it is just go-karts.

Quite possibly one of the worst rides at WDW is Body Wars. I have more hate for that ride, then any other in the entire earth!!!!!!
