Which discounts prohibit Dining Plan?

I know I heard people complaining that with certain discounts or codes they could not buy the dining plan. Which were those? We liked the Dining plan in MArch and want to get it again in January.

Can you get it with these discounts:

AP
AAA
code attached to name , email, postcard code
other?

The Magic Your Way Dining plan is part of a Magic Your Way PACKAGE, and therefore is not available with any room-only codes. (AP, and AAA with Disney CRO)

I've heard some success with pin codes with applying to packages.

AP holders can get the Disney Dining Experience card.
AAA members can get discounted package with Dining directly thru AAA only, just be sure to double-check that they got you the discounted room rate.
