Which Direction Second MSEP?

I managed to snag a MSEP FP+ for the night before Thanksgiving (an evening EMH). It is for the second running of the parade that evening. We have a Wishes FP+ for Wishes at 9 followed by the FP+ for MSEP for the 10 PM parade. I am guessing we will just need to swim upstream with everyone trying to get out of the park after Wishes to get to the parade FP+ location in Tony's Town Square. Does the second MSEP start in the Town Square area and head towards Frontierland or go the other direction? Just wondering if using the FP+ might buy us some extra time over not using a FP+ and setting up camp in Frontierland.

Thanks! I thought for some reason they switched direction. Good to know. Thinking keeping the FP+ for MSEP might be the way to go.

They only switch parade directions at Disneyland.
That's because in the California park, there is no road backstage for the parade to loop around and get ready again.

In MK, there is a full loop road behind the scenes that allows the parade to get set and go the same direction every time.

It's much easier for the performers and producers to run the parade in the same direction each time than it is to turn all of the floats around try to follow a "backwards" path every other time.
