DM, DD, and I are trying to decide which restaurant to skip and do Palo's instead. My DSis has already shared her thoughts with us and I was just wondering what you guys thought.

Thanks!

You might want to look at the menus, and see which one appeals to you the least, we skipped animator's palette when we went.

My personal preference would be to skip Parrot Cay. There was nothing overly cute about the decor and the food was just "pretty good." I would not miss Animator's Palate. That is something you definitely want to experience. It was probably my favorite, just for the light show and the decor. The food was really good too. I liked Triton's because of the atmosphere and the food was really good. You could always experience Parrot Cay by going to the breakfast buffet one morning. You can also go to Triton's for lunch, which is good, but I liked going at night when all the turquoise lights on the ceiling were all lit up and I could dress up. I hope this helps.

After doing all 3 restuarants on our first 3 day cruise, we opted to skip AP on our second cruise since we liked it the least.

We are going in Nov. and we are skipping Tritons........trading one formal meal for another. Parrot Cay's menu looks more to my liking than tritons.

do you have early seating? if you do, try to get a later Palo ressie, or if you have late seating, you can get an earlier palo ressie.

When I go to palo I try to get the earliest possible ressie, then go to my usual dining rotation--usually I just have a second dessert.

At least that way you wouldn't miss the dining experience. I agree that Animator's is probably the weakest menu, but it makes up for the atmosphere. See if you can't time it to get both in. So you at least see the show at Animators.

IMHO
I would skip Tritons. Like one poster said -- skip one formal restaurant for another. Animator's has a great show (how could you skip this one???) and Parrot Cay is a party with dancing, limbo, etc. Triton's was so-so.
