We are a family of 2 adults + 2 kids aged 11 & 10 and have narrowed down our choice to the following : Either Polynesian or Beach/Yacht Club.

Which of the above has the better rooms ( Room & toilet should have that sparkling new feel to them ) .

We shall do all 4 parks + a couple of the water parksTravel planned for August 2002 for a 7 night stay.

Thanks for your feedback.

The poly is nice but there is only 1 sink & it is in the bathroom. The other deluxes have a seperate sink area. Which frees the bathroom up.

My kids LOVE BWI. I've never stayed at BC but it is across the lake. My next trip will be BC....I like trying new places. This Epcot area is great....you have the boardwalk with street performers.

Also I like that from this area you enter EPCOT at the International Gate Way. After a long day traveling to Epcot for dinnner was too much from the Poly...its alot of walking from the monrail.

Those two resorts are very different. If you choose the BC/YC resort the rooms are smaller but they have a better design. The sink area is seprate from the loo and shower. They are newer. The pool is great. Some of the rooms at the BC donot have balconies. Perhaps a suite would be better for you. The Poly is a lovely older resort it has been updated in recent years and I have never found a room to lack proper housekeeping. If you would prefer to be closer to the Mk and be on the monorail I would say to choose the Poly. I think it is the resort that most reminds me I am on vacation the transportation is the best on the property. You might want to decide which area of WDW you would most want to be in and then begin to narrow your choices.

These are both really nice hotels. The Poly for its convenience of the monorail is worth it. With small children I would lean toward this resort. They have a brand new pool, nice restaurants and refurbished rooms. As for BC they have the best resort pool and the close proximity of walking to EPCOT and younger of the two resorts.

YC/BC bathrooms there are great! LOL Double marble sinks, seperate tub/toilet area plenty of room. Your kids would also get a kick out of the pool there I'm sure.
