Which Deluxe w/ small kids?

Yall make me giggle with your room size debate :)

I think all 3 resorts have pros for staying with a young child. We personally like the vibe of the GF, think the Poly has the best restaurants, and love the CR location (although we have never stayed at CR we would love to someday). Consider that zero entry pool though if you plan on swimming (GF or Poly). We took our 8 month old and it was nice to sit beside her in the water and not have to hold, or put her in a floatie thingie the whole time. We have never found either pool at the GF to be overly crowded. I hear the CR pool doesn't get very crowded...But no zero entry....

You can't go wrong with a monorail resort. My suggestion is to look at pictures of the 3 monorail resorts and see which theme suits you best. They all have their own unique feel to them. CR being right next to MK feels magical and busy but is not jaw-dropping gorgeous (nor is it supposed to be....). Poly is laid-back and tropical feeling. GF is more prestige-looking and pretty.

...end of August for 2-3 days ...two small children (4 years and a 7 month old) ...want something close to MK. ..a day of hanging out at the resort pool ... absolutely baby-friendly (not just kid-friendly!), lots to do at the resort (good pools would be a plus), decent room (for naps), and close to MK. What would you choose?TIA!
We have stayed at all the MK Area resorts.

Close to MK would be one of the monorail resorts or even WL. It really comes down to your budget, theme preference and location. I would say PR and GF provide pools where your 4yo could feel confident since their zero entry at the PR and large shallow pool at the GF, plus zero entry. Closest resort would be CR pushing a stroller only 5-8 minutes to and from the MK. We prefer the tower but garden rooms are also very nice.

On the monorail you may need to collapse the stroller depending on the crowds or stroller size. The GF and PR water launch will require the stroller to be carried but the WL water launch can be pushed right on...and the TTC ferry is no stroller issue to get back to the Eastern part of the PR. The great thing about the monorail resorts is they offer more than one way to get back to the resort and if your are returning around dinner time the water transportation allows you to avoid the restaurant areas that can become very congested with elevated noise levels. (Important to avoid with very young infants/toddlers).

All the resorts provide an assortment of things to do and the MK area resort transportation make it easy to travel to and from resorts to dine. Mid-day naps are easy at any one of the monorail resorts...taking either the monorail, walkway or water transporation. We found the curtains were excellent at making the room dark during the day.

If the pool is a key decision items I would recommend either the GF or PR. Best restaurants are at the GF with the best views being from the PR or CR Tower-MK Side (minus the parking lot), but the CR walkway is super nice transportation option.

Again, it really comes down to your budget, theme preference and location. Children at this age will have a great time at any of these resort, so I tend to tell parents to select a resort that makes this a vacation for you too. For us the less we had to collapse and carry the stroller (with supplies) the better.
