Which deluxe resort???

We chose Wilderness Lodge. We have a DD that will be 4 and I wanted easy access to MK, because that is the only park we are really visiting. I wanted the added bonus of a Deluxe, but did not want to pay some of the high costs at some of the Deluxe resorts. The Standard room at WL was something we were willing to pay.

I like all the deluxes for many different reasons. I am from MA to, which part are you from?

Ages of children are a big influence on the decision. Monorail resorts are great with stroller-age children. Moderates like CB and CS were great when my boys were 5-10 years old. Now they are teens, so our needs are changing once again.

Our first pick for our upcoming trip was BW. Our happy place most Disney nights is strolling around at World Showcase and eating at a country. Unfortunatley, BW and BC were booked. We will be at SSR, which is good too. The boys are into DisneyQuest and DTD, as well, so that resort will be convenient.

15 years from now, I may be back at CR or Poly with grandkiddies (heehee). Aw the circle of life...

So it's just between the Poly and GF now, right? I'd go with Poly. But I do have to say that GF is the only deluxe we haven't stayed at ~ but we have eaten there several times so I sort of have a feel for it. The themes are totally different, so I'd base your decision on that. Poly is laid-back and tropical. GF is prestige and upscale. Both great resorts, just not sure which theme suits your family best. I think Poly has the better transportation with the TTC right there so you get direct monorail service to both MK and Epcot. You've already stayed at Contemporary, so no need to sell you on how great the monorail is....

And you've also stayed at the Swan, so no need to sell you on how great the Epcot resort area is....if any Epcot resort creeps back into your choices, let us know and we'll give lots of advice on those! That is my favorite area to stay. We love walking to the Epcot countries for most of our meals.
