I already have reservations for Pop Century, Dec. 6-16. We will be on the deluxe dining plan, but now DH says we might be able to afford upgrading to a deluxe resort! :cheer2:
I've always wanted to stay at the Contemporary and the Poly, but which would you prefer?
There will be 3 adults and a 5 year old. I'm leaning towards the contemporary, but the poly seems so beautiful and relaxing.

would generally say Polyn - the 3 adults would appreciate it.

that say if the child has a smell down at the MK - getting back to the resort is more important. You can actually walk back to the CR. so if the monrail, ferry and buses are having problems - you won't.

I have stayed at most of the deluxes and I must say my favorite is the Contemporary. We just got back from a split stay last week. We went to the Boardwalk and I actually wish we would have stayed at the Contemporary. I have only stayed in the tower rooms, but I loved it. The walk to MK is great and you are first on the bus line. We were last at the Boardwalk and that was not fun. Even going to Epcot is easy, you just get on the monorail and transfer at the TTC and go on to Epcot. We got a Bay Lake view, I wanted MK view but was unable to get it. The Bay Lake view is pretty, but they are building the new ( what is the new DVC, I think) building, and some say it is noisy. There wasn't any construction going on when we were there. It was amazing walking out of our room and being able to see the monorail come through, and look down at all the stores. The pool was never very crowded, and the quiet pool is just off the lake. I found getting around the resort easy too. Good luck deciding, what ever you choose you will enjoy your stay.

Contemporary Tower with an MK View, all I can say is Priceless, especially with a child.

I must tell you that I got this room for less than a standard at the Poly or GF with a AAA discount in December.
