Which Deluxe Resort with Concierge?

I was wondering what the recommendations are for someone who has never done a disney hotel, let alone concierge? The choices that I am choosing between are the Beach/Yacht Club, Boardwalk, Animal Kingdom and Wilderness. Any help would be great!

Out of your choices, we have only stayed CL at the WL (but have stayed at AKL and BC non-CL). I can't compare WL CL to the other CLs since we haven't tried the others, but I can say that we found WL CL to be amazing. The food offerings are great, the lounge is spacious with plenty of seating, and the CL CMs are awesome. We loved everything about WL CL, but one of my favorite things about it is the lounge seating and how it's arranged around the railing overlooking the lobby. This, IMO, makes for a relaxing afternoon or evening watching the hustle and bustle of the lobby down below. You will get alot of different opinions on all of them, but I can't say enough good things about WL CL.

We've stayed CL at YC, BC and AKL (from the ones you mentioned). I usually pick the resort based on location and theming, then decide if I want to add on CL.

AKL is an amazing resort, with great food, decor, animals, pool, etc. Their CL is one of my favorites since the lounge is large and overlooks (and thus draws in the fantastic atmosphere of) the lobby. AKL is farther away from the parks, though, so some people don't like it.

YC and BC are nice resorts, sharing a really fun and large swimming pool. They are in a great location if you spend time at DHS and Epcot since you can walk or take a both to both parks. The CL level is nice there, but not my favorite since they both have lounges that are just like larger rooms. But when we spend lots of time at Epcot, we just love this location.

All the resorts have their pros and cons IMHO, and it really depends on what qualities are the most important to you. Hope this helps a bit!

We have done the poly and bc cl. Both are wonderful with a slight edge to the poly. I like that it has two levels and the awesome view of the castle. Bc cl is nothing to sniff at though. It was very nice with wonderful cm's. have fun!

I've done all the ones on the OP's list plus GF RPC and GF SL. Off your list, my favorite is BWI by quite a bit. Second on your list would be AKL. Least favorite is BC.

I have stayed at all the resorts, but only CL at BC/YC and WL. I would always choose an Epcot resort as my first choice. If your looking for the best CL I would say WL. The best resort YC.

From your list, we have done YC CL and WL CL. We really enjoyed our YC CL stay but absolutely LOVED WL CL.

We liked the food offerings at WL CL much better. It was more "real" food like chili, meatballs, wings, chicken, etc....while at YC CL it was just a bunch of fried pastry things...

We loved the WL CL CM's...all of them were fantastic and so helpful and warm. The only YC CL CM that stood out was fantastic, she was fantastic!!

The lounge at WL is way better, IMHO. It is bigger and I loved being able to down at the lobby seeing people come and go.

We had an amazing view of Cinderella Castle and Wishes from our room, which can't be beat!

WL CL just felt like home...near perfection.
