Which decision is wiser?

Okay... my husband and I have decided that we want to take our little boy back to Disney this year, but we're limited on times to take him. Also, he's recently became a big brother, which makes our taking him a little more difficult because we don't want to leave the baby with grandparents, etc.

So here are our two options. One option is to take them during Spring Break next month. The baby will only be 6 weeks old. I know the baby won't remember the trip, but the trip is for our older child who has been to Disney twice and absolutely loves it! The other option is to wait until summer and take them. The baby will be 3 months old then. The only reason we were thinking next month would be better is because the heat would not be as intense for the baby, and also the crowds are slightly less in April than in June.

Any advice? What would you do? Thanks!!!

I owuld say next month. The crowds are going to be insane either way, but the weather in the summer is horrible in FL.

I would go next month, but leave the baby at home. I wouldn't personally bring a 6 week old to Disney. And I wouldn't bring a 3 month old in the summer.

I would go in April and I would bring the baby and wear the little one in a sling. I love my Maya Wrap double ring sling. It will keep the little one away from germy people and if you are nursing, will provide a nice cover up for modest nuring in public.

The double ring slings have NOT been implicated in the baby sling recall and deaths. The Maya Wrap company provides a DVD with each purchase which shows you clearly how to wear the baby and goes into safety issues to consider when baby wearing.

Have a wonderful trip. I think an older sibling would really enjoy a Disney trip and this could do wonders to help with any feelings of jealousy. Big Brother would get to have some special big boy time and lots of attention.
