Hi there,
I'm planning a trip for this July, staying at GCV. Dates are Sun-Thursday, but my passes are only 4-day. My flight home is departing @7pm from SNA. I am wondering if I should just go into the park on Sunday (we will be driving in from a relatives home in SoCal about an hour away). Use the passes from Sun-Weds but then I will need to find something to entertain us for the day on Thursday until we have to go to the airport. My other thoughts were possibly upgrading the passes, but I got a special deal and I don't know if I would lose the savings if I upgrade?? OR, just take our time getting there on Sunday since check in isn't until the afternoon anyway, then we could relax around the resort Sunday evening and spend our time in the parks Mon-Thurs until we have to catch the shuttle to the a/p on Thursday afternoon. Just wondering what others would do? Are there any other activities in the area, outside of the parks we could enjoy on the last day? I'm also on a tight budget as well, and it's been a while since we've had a vacation, but it goes without saying we also want to enjoy our time there as much as possible. Looking for others thoughts on the subject. thanks!
