The last time we went during Christmas time to Disneyland was in 2013. We opted for the week before Christmas because I read that it was a bit less crowded than on actual Christmas, but I think it turned out to be that everyone trying to avoid the crowds became the crowd.
I do not mind the crowds I always expect for it to be packed. We are thinking about Dec 22-26 or 24-28 or somewhere with in those dates. We were also thinking about thanksgiving week but Flights are more expensive and I read that there are a ton of events.
We are not usually parade people unless we have not seen it already like PTN is the only one we would like to see. WoC and Fantasmic we might do might not. We are always there on rope drop to take advantage of less crowds. we are doing either 3 days or 4 not sure yet but staying offsite. We will be doing breakfast at Minnies one morning and Dinner at Goofys another night. We get one magic morning so I was thinking of doing breakfast that day after we have done some rides like 9:30 is that a good idea?
We are taking our goddaughter who is 6 years old and has never been. We really want to make sure she gets to really enjoy Disneyland and see it all (or most) with out being rushed.
Are there certain days we should avoid certain parks because of events happening there?
