SO EXCITED about our upcoming Disneyland trip!!!! :cheer2:

If given the choice, which do you think would be the better option?

LegoLand 8/31, 9/1; Disneyland 9/2, 9/3

or

Disneyland 8/31, 9/1; LegoLand 9/2, 9/3?

We are staying off property and our main focus is CarsLand if that helps at all.

Thank you so much for the help! I appreciate your expert opinions!!

I have no opinion on LL but I would lean towards Aug 31-Sept at DLR.

Being that it is labor day weekend, it would make more sense to go to Disneyland first, but I would go to Legoland first. Last year we went to Legoland after Disney and I think because we did it in reverse I wasn't impressed at all by LL. I think in the back of my mind I kept telling myself and comparing it to DL. Not sure what others think, but I don't think you need to spend 2 days at legoland. We were there maybe 1/2 day and did everything that was opened and some we rode several times. Maybe we just went on a good day, but it wasn't really that crowded so that might have made the difference.

I think I would go to LL 1 day and increase your DL days to 3. Sorry, I know that wasn't your question or an option, but DL blows away Legoland in my opinion and I would try to go there for as long as possible.

Thanks, hydroguy and kailuagirl! I have two legomaniacs and we were planning on spending the second LL day at the lego waterpark/seeing some sights/driving to DL and getting settled in there. This seemed like a great plan until I started reading about how DL is mostly visited by locals, thus making the weekends/holidays much more crowded. :rolleyes2

I would only do Legoland for one day. We have gone twice, but both times we were there we kept thinking, "Wow. I wish we'd just stayed at Disney." It's still worth the experience, but it would be best to do before going to DL because otherwise it seems much less fun in comparision (DH calls it "Lame-o Land." Kind of harsh, but definitely less fun than DL).
