Which day should we go?

We are planning a trip this December, and we'd like to use a day to visit Universal. We have been before, and we don't love it. All we really want to see is WWoHP. We are already booked in a hotel, so staying at a US hotel for FOTP is not an option. We know it is close to Christmas, and we know it will be busy. Which day is the lesser of two evils? Saturday, December 17th or Sunday, December 18th? Thanks for any feedback.

I would do Sunday, only because this is often a less crowded day in the off-season. So close to Christmas, I'm not so sure.

I'm going to say Sunday, particularly afternoon, assuming no special event is going on, will be quieter, but really a guess. That's pretty close to the holiday, so it may be mayhem all around...hopefully that'll be festive and not a drag.
