I always go for groceries on Sunday afternoon. The poll was inspired by my husband finally realizing that the day the store flyer appears in the paper is now Wednesday instead of Sunday. It has been like that since May. But, still, Sunday is the day I go, because the other days of the week are too hectic, especially during the school year.

I don't have any set day of the week although I do try to avoid the weekends. I neither work full-time nor am I a SAHM. I used to be full-time but cut my hours about 40% once I became a mom. Now that we're in our new house we have 3 grocery stores and a farmers market within about 3 miles. I go multiple times because we're constantly running out of fresh produce.

Usally Saturday, but some times Friday.

My boyfriend and I always go friday night. We went Saturday afternoon once and it was a nightmare it was so crowded!

Work part-time (when feel like it), but no option for that, so chose stay-at-home. :) Go to store 2x a week, usually. Go when spirit moves or am out of important items. :)

I work 30 hours a week outside the home. After I pick up DS, I make a fresh produce run on Tues or Wed afternoon b/c Tues is normally the day new produce is shipped.

Our weekly big trip is Sunday. I make a list and DH does the shopping. He says it's cheaper like that b/c he goes by the list exclusively and I tend to pick up a lot of extra stuff. With him doing the shopping, it makes me meal plan for the week instead of having to decide each day what I might want to cook.

Our local paper changes every couple of months from sunday to monday to wednesday to the current thursday. I was talking to a store manager last week and he said it was because they found that most people shop thursday - sunday now. They like to get the ads out before the weekend shopping rush.

Of course that can change next month when they decide that they want the ad to run monday-sunday again!

I like early Thursday afternoon, or early morning Sat/Sun. I work outside the home full time. :)

Either Wednesday mornings or Sunday mornings depending on the week. I usually shop about every 10 to 11 days though (hence the Wednesday or Sunday)

Sunday afternoon has its pros and cons. If I go too early, it is extremely busy. If I go too late, it is less crowded, but, the store has run out of specials, especially produce. Our store (Meijer) is large enough that I think they get fresh produce more than once a week, if not daily. Sometimes, produce is picked clean by late Sunday, and they have no more to put out. (I'm assertive enought to ask). I actually oversimplified to say I go Sunday. Sometimes I also go Thursday, particularly if they were out of something I wanted to get Sunday, but, my goal is to do all the shopping on Sunday, or once a week.

We both work full time so grocery shopping for us is early Saturday morning. We are usually there by 8 am and it isn't too crowded yet. Sometimes a little earlier sometimes a little later.

I shop when we need food. Sometimes I'm more organized and plan better, sometimes I go almost daily. Just depends. The stores around me are all different. One starts ad's on Sunday. Most of the others on Wednesday. Then they all throw in the odd week around a holiday that the ad is either really short or extra long. I dont really worry about it, except for the diet coke prices. Most other things I just see whats on sale while I'm there. I plan a lot of meals around what meat prices are and what the quality looks like while I'm in the store.

We both work full time, so Saturday works best for us for our "full shop". I will usually pick some stuff up here or there throughout the week.

I work full time and have been battling really debilitating headaches and am frequently totally wiped out in the evenings after work. Bottom line is that I shop when I have the time, the energy, and the desperate need. The store is close to home, so I'm usually in there a couple of times a week, but at no set time. If I'm prepared to do a "bigger" shop, it's usually Sunday afternoon just because that's when I have the biggest chunk of time available. Or Saturday morning if there's not a swim meet.

Only on days of the week that end in "...day". My wife is horrified to go to the store more than once a week. I'd stop by on my way home from work every day if I had to. Go figure.
