Which day is better for Islands of Adventure? Tuesday or Wednesday?

Hi,

We are planning to do Universal Parks on Tuesday (April 12) and Wednesday (April 13). I originally planned Universal Studios for 4/12 (Tuesday) and Islands of Adventure for 4/13 (Wednesday).

My son asked me this morning why US for Tuesday and why IOA for Wednesday and I honestly didn't know why I chose like that. I know why I chose Tuesday and Wednesday for Universal instead of Disney parks because it's supposedly be most quiet days for parks?

My son is more interested in IOA park than Universal since we've been to Universal Studios Hollywood many times and many rides are same.

Which day do you think is better for IOA (less crowded)? Tuesday (4/12) or Wednesday (4/13)? Do you think it'll make difference?

Shouldn't make any difference but US Orlando has Diagon Alley...don't think they have that in CA.

Also, remember if you want to ride Hogwarts Express between the 2 parks you need Park to Park tickets. If you're son is a big Harry Potter fan you might want to park hop both days.
