Need some advice... Planning our trip and not sure which day to do US. Would you go on a Monday or a Tuesday???? We will be there May 30 to June 10. Not sure of the crowds at US, and thought Tuesday June 7th might be less crowded. Any advice????

Thanks.

I generally go to Universal on a Monday or Tuesday.... later in the week people from WDW resorts start headiing over there. You might get more responses from the Universal section of the Dis.:goodvibes

Sunday is reportedly the best day at IOA/Universal.

We went to Universal during spring break...we were there on a Monday and a Tuesday. The crowds at US were almost nonexistent both days. We walked right on to most rides. IOA, on the other hand, was absolutely packed both days.

Monday. Most people start their week at Disney and move over to US later in the week. :)

Don't go the 7th. I'll be there that day, and I'd prefer to keep the crowds to a minimum myself, so I'm dissuading people from going that day. Thanks for your anticipated cooperation and understanding.

As other PP's have stated, try not to do US/IOA later in the week. Our recent trip is a perfect example of why: we spent Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday at WDW and Thursday and Friday at US/IOA.

I just posted on Twitter and FB for everyone to head to US on the 7th, come up to you and you'll buy them a popcorn and a funnel cake. Have fun. ;)

The last few years we have checked in on a Sunday or Monday and the crowds are decent until about Wednesday afternoon/thursday then all heck breaks loose. With WWOHP it has gotten worse with even Monday being pretty busy. I would try for Tuesday to help with the crowds.

We also stay onsite for the express pass and early entry into WWOHP. Usually the benefits exceed the extra cost of the room. 1 night onsite gets you 2 days of benefits.

Hey Wadecool, you are way cool!!!! That was just too funny!!! :rotfl2: I see you're from KY, I worked in Louisville for several years. Originally from Clarksville IN.

Thanks everyone for your advice. I decided on Tuesday!!! Hoping for the best.

We go at the end of our trip since if we go before I'll never get DH to WDW. So on our last trip we did the US parks on Saturday & Sunday (although we never made it on Sunday :( DD1 got sick and we had to leave). Saturday at Island of Adventure in February wasn't bad. The Harry Potter section was packed but the rest of the park wasn't crowded at all! My DH did the dragon ride by the Harry Potter section & waited 40 minutes at about 9am. Besides that our longest wait was 15 minutes for some train ride thing at Dr Seuss land.

I'm going to move this to our Universal Studios boards.
