Which day for Epcot? Please help!

Our trip is August 25- September 2nd. Assuming that the Food & Wine festival could start Thursday, August 30 (based off of it starting the Thursday before Labor day last year), our options are Thurs, Fri, or Sat. I've heard we should completely avoid Friday and Saturday, since it will be absolutely packed. Thursday has EMH for Epcot, so Thursday would probably be packed as well. According to online crowd calendars (which I know are not always accurate), Thursday and Friday are marked as worst park, and Saturday is marked as ok. I would think Saturday would be the worst day. Can anyone give me an educated guess at which day would be best? I was at the point of just planning to skip F&W, but we really want to go, even if for only the one day. Also, we're not able to change our dates or extend our trip, unfortunately. Thank you in advance!

Honestly, it's the starting weekend of Food and Wine and a holiday weekend, the world showcase will probably be packed all 3 days. I would think maybe the Friday because it's the day after EMH and locals may still have to work but I would pick whichever day works best in your schedule.

Thank you! I was leaning towards Friday, I figured maybe doing as much as we can during the day, and plan on leaving at dinner time when the locals head to Epcot. I know any of the 3 days are going to be huge crowds though.
