Which dates: Nov. 4-7, MLK weekend, or President's Day?

We're trying to decide when to go. Our priorities are:

*Cheaper hotel/airfare
*Lower crowds
*Fewer closures - we don't mind some, but there are a couple of rides we'd hate to miss.

We're leaning towards that November weekend, but are worried that IASW will be closed to be decorated for Christmas. It's DD's favorite ride. Missing it would be tragic.

Which ever weekend we choose, we'd probably also spend Friday and Monday in the parks too.

Of your three choices, I have only been President's Day weekend but I would guess that one would be the most crowded.

If you pick the November weekend, Small World will certainly be down for the holiday overlay. It closes late October and does not reopen until the Christmas season starts which recently has been around Veteran's Day.

Last year, Small World closed the day after Martin Luther King day for removal of the overlay. You probably would get to ride Small World if you made sure to go that weekend, and you would see the holiday version. No guarantee of course that Disney doesn't change their timing and close it on an earlier date for some reason this year though.

Definitly Nov.

While January and February and the beginning of March are the longest stretch of offseason those holiday weekends cause a huge crowd to appear. Disney uses that long offseason to do it's major rehabs. Chances are huge that major attractions will be down and big area rehabs will be going on.

As PP noted in Nov. It's almost certain that small world will be down. There will also be the dissapearing Halloween and appearing Christmas decorations going on at that time too. This is when the park is almost dead.
