Which dates are better in October?

We may need to change our dates from September to October. I was wondering if you could give your opinions on which dates are better?

27th September - 4th October or

4th October - 11th October

Is there anything going on during these dates that would make it busier than usual?

What's the weather like around this time?

I would definitely go with your earlier dates. Some Arizona school fall breaks will occur during the second set of dates you stated, and you surely do not want to be there then! October has become a VERY busy time at DL. The decorations are super darling for sure, but there were THOUSANDS of people at the turnstiles every morning when we were there two Octobers ago.

Hopefully some other DISers will weigh in with their opinion, but I would say stick with September if at all possible.

Gay Days are October 2-4 this year, so expect the weekend to be very crowded.

UEA-the Utah Fall break is Oct 1-5. That alone usually makes it a busy time for DL. Add that to Gay Days and the Arizona break and that's going to be a crazy weekend.

Yes, here in AZ where I am, we'll be out on our fall break from Oct. 6-10th week....so that will add to the crowds!
I'd say Sept. would be better too!

We are going Sept. 26-30. Hopefully this way we will beat most the crowds but still get to see the fall decorations!

We managed to rearrange our days and will now be going Sept 21-28th. Is this a good time to go?

Yah I got stuck on the bridge by pirates of the caribbean for over 20 minutes 2 years ago because it was so darn busy that the park wasnt managable to walk around. It was just a sea of people. Gay days was going on, and there seemed to be a few conventions as well.

Check the Anaheim covention center website for their list of up coming events. But if I had to choose out of those 2 dates I would choose the 4-11
