Which Cruise do you Prefer 3, 4, 7-Eastern, 7-Western

3 night Bahama
4 night Bahama
7 night Eastern
7 night Western

definitely a 7 day! eastern, western, i don't really mind, since i don't have the luxury to travel whenever i want...it's when i have the time off, and which ever itineray it happen to be on... :flower:

Haven't cruised yet, but I think our 7-night Western cruise in January is going to be completely MAGICAL!!!

7-day Eastern for me. I love St. Thomas and St. Maarten, and favor the extra day at sea. DH prefers the 7-day western, because it's one less day at sea. LOL!

We have been on two 7 day Eastern and one 4 day Bahamas, I prefer the 7 day Eastern because of the extra day at sea. We enjoyed the 4 day, but it seemed to go by so fast after doing the two 7 day cruises. In 2006 we will be going on the special 7 day Western to Costa Maya with two stops at Castaway Cay, we are looking forward to that cruise.

We need to travel during spring break, so with the 4 night starting on Sunday we can fly in on Saturday to get a restful night's sleep before boarding. Then we get all the things we love about the cruise (we don't really care for excursions, we just want to be on the ship).

Also, the 4 night is the ONLY one of the itenaries that gives you a day at sea to rest AFTER Castaway Cay. On the other cruises you have to pack the night after being at CC all day.

Then we get off the ship on Thursday morning and head over to WDW and get to spend Thur. and Fri. at the parks. We can fly home on Saturday and have a day to rest and do laundry before heading back to our daily lives.

NOW if we had two weeks of vacation, we would like the 7 night, but we never get 2 weeks. So for our 1 week of vacation, the 4 night works the best for us!

P.S. We are considering the 3 night because the way the DVC points work. We could go to our resort Sun-Wed nights on our points and then go on the ship Thurs-Sat nights and fly home on Sunday. But we really do like that day at sea on the last day of the 4 night.

Love them all. We've done a 3 day, two 4 days, 7 day Eastern, 7 day Western, 10 day holiday (Key West, St. Martin, St. Thomas, Antiqua, St. Lucia, and Castaway Cay) and are booked on a 4 day (DVC) this year and one of the special 7 day Westerns (Castaway Cay, Costa Maya, Cozumel, Castaway Cay)next year. The only one i don't think I would do again is the 3 day. Way too short! It was however the first cruise for 3 in our party so it was a good start.

Sea days are my favorites so I think the edge would go to the 7 day Eastern but we love trying new ports as well.

Any 7 nighter is great for us. The distance to travel, makes it worth the 7 nighter. If I had the option, I would choose the Eastern, but if the Western is what works into our schedule, then the Western it is. :sunny:

For me, its the 7 day Western!! Cozumel is one of the best ports that DCL goes to. It had beautiful beaches and sights to see. Grand Caymen has great snorkling sites, but the island is still in shambles from lasts years hurricanes. And Key West is a fun time with the sunset celebration.

7 day Eastern for me. I've been on a 4 day, when the Magic was still making the trips and both 7 days. I love the extra day at sea on the Eastern. I would love it if we just floated for 7 days and never saw land until the cruise was over. I love sea days! :sunny:

ME TOO...ME TOO...I could just float around the ocean too..I enjoy the stops, but could just have sea days... :cloud9:
