Which crowd calendar?

Hi everyone!! Question. Of the crowd calendars, it seems there are really different opinions.

So.... I thought I would ask which one people tend to lean towards and how accurate did you find it to be? (I miss Mike )

I miss Mike too!

I like using Josh over at EasyWDW. I like that he gives descriptions as to why he does or does not recommend a park for a certain day. I sometimes compare to Touring Plans too just to see but I usually use EasyWDW to figure out which days I'm going to which parks.

In our limited sample size, EasyWDW was exactly correct. And his explanations can help you use your own judgment - for example, if you are park hopping.

Touring Plans got one day horrendously wrong for us - EasyWDW had Hollywood Studios as _least recommended_ on a CL5 day, while TP had it as CL3 (which was lower than TP had other parks, so basically HS was most recommended by Touring Plans). It was a madhouse, and Touring Plans retroactively rated it as Crowd Level 8. Predicting CL3 and having it be CL8 is pretty unbelievably bad! This was in November 2014. The reason we decided to go to HS that day was because TP put the crowd level only at 3, and it was an EMH day, so we figured it would be okay. Big mistake. I guess you can give TP credit for recognizing the mistake after the fact - maybe they have improved their crowd calendar since then.

I used TP for years, but switched to easywdw a few years ago. We almost always pick the most recommended park, and when we don't his explanations of the factors that will affect each park let us know what we may be getting ourselves into.

I had been relying on easywdw's info until our last trip, when three of his days were completely off the mark. Turned out, TP had the correct info for those exact days, so now I have to give the edge to them.

I've only used TP twice, but have been very pleased. For my upcoming trip, I checked easywdw against TP in planning. In one important instance, easywdw almost led me seriously astray. It had not been updated with the addition of a second F! in a timely manner. I only consider F! when it is a second show, so it's an imporant factor in park choice for me. So I'll probably stick with TP.
