Which crowd calendar to follow?

I was looking at one and then I ssw another site and the crowd calendar was the exact opposite. Which calendar is most accurate?

With the MVMCP it's hard to pick a day to visit the MK, especially if you want to do rope drop. I think I'll stick with my plans and chance it.

Actually, MVMCP makes it easy, unless you want to see Wishes. MK is less crowded on days when MVMCP takes place because of the shorter hours.

Just came over to post exactly what you posted! Hard ticket party season is the one time of year it's easier to separate out the low crowd days from the high crowd days (at least in the MK).

Oh, I didn't think of it that way. I think I want to do the whole day and night since we only have one day at MK and one day at Epcot. I will think about it though.

The days without a party are always going to be high crowd days that time of year. I certainly understand wanting to do it all. But I would consider a party day, then dinner somewhere on the monorail loop followed by watching Wishes from somewhere outside the park.

On days with the MVMCP, do they do the light show on the castle earlier? If they still have the castle show, then maybe that is an option. We might be able to go to one of the other places to watch Wishes. (I know I read somewhere about watching it other places.)

Check the schedule, but I believe they do light the castle before you have to leave. As for watching Wishes, you can watch from the Contemporary (4th floor viewing area), California Grill, Ticket & Transportation center (best view, but least ambience) or Poly beach (generally available except during peak crowd times).

Exactly. Last week's crowd levels at MK show how dramatic the difference actually is.

Josh at easyWDW has (at least temporarily) stopped doing them because he feels that Disney has made it impossible for him to do them with any kind of accuracy.

We went to Mk on a MVMCP party day, was predicted to be a crowd level 4, now looking back they are saying it was a 9! Shorter hours certainly did not equate to less people that day, and it was very difficult to get any decent 4th/5thb fast passes because shorter hours means they have less available. Ignore crowd calenders.

I have no idea! I trusted easywdw 100%, and when he said he can't accurately predict right now, I trust that it means no one can. We are waiting to find out what hubbys vacations will be in 2017 and will either be planning March 26 or June 5th. I'm a nervous wreck without a decent crowd calendar.
