I want to buy both my daughters a pair of crocs for Disney, but I don't know which kind? I am going back and forth between the traditional crocs and the mary jane crocs. I want them to be comfortable and also cute! Any suggestions on which kind might be best? Also, if anyone has any pictures of little ones wearing these kinds, I would love to see them on! I can't find any mary jane styles to fit my girls to see what they look like on! Thanks for any suggestions!! Only 51 days til we leave!!!:cool1:

My DD just turned 7 yesterday and she has the mary janes AND the beach crocs. She got blisters from the mary janes when she first got them (they're fine now) but she has never had any problems ever with the beach crocs!!! Also, the beach crocs seem to fit more true to size. The mary janes slip on her heel quite a bit (and they are the same size!).

My daughter wore the Mary Jane's to Disney last year when she was 4 years old. She never had a problem with them. In fact, she can still wear them this year.

I (we) love crocs....hope I can help answer your question a bit

I don't have any good pictures of my kids in their crocs that don't show their faces (I don't like doing that) but here is my middle DD going down a water side in her kid caymen's I believe. She was then 3 1/2 ish and was wearing a size 8/9. The past 2 years she's worn the same style and the crocling style (w/ the cloth strap in back) in a size 10/11.

They are quite comfy and durable IMHO. she only got a few rub blister at that age on the side of her foot.

Here are 3 of my kids last summer all wearing crocs. They wore them ALL summer long, even to church. My girls had 2 pairs 1 for play 1 for church.

I'm (well actually DMom is) getting all my kids new crocs for this year and specifically Disney. including my soon to be 18 mo. I ordered them online just last week. When I get the baby's I'll put them on and post a pic.

But as far as style. my kids have only worn the kids caymen or the crocling style. Though my eldest DD wants a pair of Mary janes this year. As far as comfort, I don't think you can go wrong. I have a traditional beach pair and then the mj's myself. My mj's are 1 size bigger then my other pair. My are equeally comfortable. Though I wear the flip-flops and cleo sandles the most.

I only plan to bring crocs to Disney this year.

if your looking for more pic's of a younger 3 yr old in crocs I'm sure my friend Amy won't mind you peeking in on her TR. Her daughter (3) has them on the whole trip

DD has two pairs right now, the Mary Janes and the Cayman.
They both fit her perfectly and neither have left blisters so far. As far as my favorites though, the MJs are cuter on her. :)

I don't think you can go wrong though.

DD ONLY wears Crocs to Disney (and pretty much all summer too). Here is a pic of the Maryjane ones.

Our 1 year old girls have the reguar crocs in pink and we have them filled with Disney jibbitz! They could not be happier.

My DD had the pink Mickey head ones last year. I have a pic but I can't figure out how to get it on here! LOL She loves them.

I bought the Minnie Janes for this trip but haven't gotten them yet. I thought they may be better cause she tends to kick off her shoes when she's upset, and the Minnie Janes have the extra strap! LOL

The little girl I nanny is 2. She has a pair of pink Caymans and a pair of the Ariel Croclings. I think the Croclings stay on her feet better, but she likes both styles. :)

How about the Ariel and Cinderella croclings? They are so cute and with the fabric that goes around the ankle instead of the strap they may be easier on the feet. I would recommend wearing socks with them either way. When your feet get sweaty in crocs they start to make that wet shoe squeak and rub on the foot, not to mention they get smelly. I also think because they retain that moisture without socks on that you run the risk of getting athletes foot from them.

I got the croclings for my stepson when he was 3. They stayed on his feet no problem and there was no chance of them slipping off. I found that the regular crocs tripped him up a little bit more. He's going to be 6 in April and I still get the croclings for him! They make darling croclings for girls, with princess themes!!

I think the mary jane crocs on little girls are SO CUTE!! I got a pair of the new "minnie janes" for my step daughter for her birthday. She wears a youth 5 and I got her the women's 6 in the minnie janes! (I'm also a little bit worried about blisters being an issue. She's never had a problem with the regular crocs...but those just aren't as cute...sorta clunky!)

lots of new styles for kids this year. If you go to crocs.com you can see everything they've got out now! (i wouldn't buy from the website though. Their shipping can be ridiculously slow!)

My DD3.5 too! She has the mary-janes in dark turquoise and the caymans in hot pink. I also like the mary-janes, they can be dressed up a bit. My DD13, DH and I only have the caymans though, the smaller they are the cuter in my opinion (my DD13 needs nines and thinks they look way too big) but my niece (13) liked them so much (she's only a six/seven) I bought her a pair in light turquoise.

My DD has the beach (or caymans?) crocs. I have the MJ's and when I first got them, the strap on the top really bothered me and took awhile to get used to. DD loves hers. The one issue we did have was we would be carrying her and her feet would relax and they would fall off (she did just go up a size before we left). Also, she would take them off when she was in the stroller and one time she somehow threw them out without me noticing. :sad2: They turned up at central lost & found 3 days later.
Here she is wearing them:

and here's the $25 replacement shoes I had to buy after she threw hers out because she was barefoot

Ok, this may be a silly question, but where are you finding the crocs to fit your 2-3 year olds? The smallest size I have ever seen online or in stores is a 4/5, and my DD (20 months) is barely in a size 3. We've tried on the 4/5's and they are HUGE. So, are my DD's feet really small, or am I not looking in the right place?

Thanks!!
Amy

DD was wearing a 4/5 all last summer, from when she was 18m-25m and I switched her to a 6/7 before we went because the 4/5s were making imprints on the top of her foot. As far as I know, 4/5 is the smallest they come.

All four of my kids and my dh and myself all have crocs and we love, love, love them.

That being said, I wanted to mention I saw at The Children's Place store that they have croc llike Mary Jane style shoes in a rainbow of colors for only like $7 a pair. I am thinking for this summer I may buy those for my dd3...for that price I can buy her several pairs for what one pair of crocs cost!

Big ditto! My youngest HATES shoes and crocs are the only thing she will tolerate. My DD's have worn the caymans as soon as they started walking well. I just recently bought them Mary Janes for this upcoming spring/summer and the love them as well. I think the Mary Janes are cuter especially in warmer weather. But I'm sure we will still have caymans around as my DD's wear their crocs year round and the caymans look better with socks than the MJ's would.

Hi
My DGD (5) wore the Croc Scutes everyday at DW last summer. She loved them and never got a blister. That's the only shoe whe wanted to wear. They were purple and pink. I also wear the Croc Scutes and they are so comfortable, even more so than my Mickey Beach Crocs.
