This doesn't have to mean your favorite band or singer.......

In fact, the 2 I will mention don't even crack my top 20 as far as favorites, but they are definitely at the top of my list for flat out fun....

1. Ringo Star..... just a really good time singing fun songs! How can you not smile singing the No No Song? :)

2. ZZ Top.... because when I saw them THEY LOOKED LIKE THEY WERE HAVING A BLAST...... I hate going to shows where the band looks like they are just doing their jobs... let loose, have fun... smile. You're living the dream of many who wish they were in your shoes, dangit! :)

CARRIE UNDERWOOD!!! She is an awesome entertainer!

James Taylor was also a lot of fun. He talked to the audience a lot and was pretty funny.

Keith Urban was a blast because yo could tell that he was having fun up on stage.

The single best concert I ever attended totally surprised me:

Kenny Loggins.

The weather was perfect, the crowds was good, he was so relaxed and seemed so happy up there and talked to the audience a lot and sang beautifully. His teenaged son was part of the duet doing the opening act and also seemed very happy and did a nice job. Hos younger son Cody was bringing on guitars and seemed thrilled to be up there with his dad. It was only the 2nd or 3rd night of the tour and they all looked to be genuinely having fun and be excited and not yet burned out at all. It was just an all around great energy and feel.

I have seen a lot of good shows in my life. Lots of great performers and many intersting venues--but everything just came together just right for that concert.:goodvibes

My most enjoyable concert was seeing Little Feat play a couple of months before Lowell George died. They put on a tremendous show that night, and I had the time of my life! I am still so thankful I got to attend that last concert of Lowell George. :worship:

Runner up concert would be seeing the Rolling Stones with the Eagles, Trapeze and ZZ Top together at the Cotton Bowl in Dallas, TX. It was a very HOT July day and night, but such a wonderful concert with four great bands. I've been to see the Stones several times since this concert, but this was the most fun. :lovestruc

Seeing Dire Straits on an unseasonably cool August night in an amphitheater takes third place on my list of favorite concerts. A storm was trying to roll in that night, and the cool breeze made for a perfect concert setting. The storm held off until the concert ended, and the band played for hours that night.

I've been to many hundreds of concerts but those three are the standouts for me! :thumbsup2

Clay Aiken, Ruben Studdard Timeless Tour. They had everyone laughing so hard our sides were hurting.

Justin Timberlake! OMG he is seriously amazing... plus he did shots on stage :lmao: I saw him in LA the same day Kanye West's last good album (before he went crazy) came out and he surprised everyone and came onstage and did "Stronger" as a duet with Justin. AWESOME.

Second was Michael Buble before he became popular. At one point he dropped the microphone and just sang and WOW... he annoys me sometimes but that man can SING.

Third favorite was George Michael two years ago. I went with my mom, and it was his birthday so there were some other people that came onstage to sing and give him a cake (guess I've been pretty lucky with "surprises" at concerts). But what made it so much fun was that everyone there was a diehard fan and sang along with everything.

Out of all the great shows I've seen, the one that really knocked me out was Queen in November of '78. I had just seen Black Sabbath and was still raving about what a good show that was when a friend invited me to see Queen with her.I thought they were ok and I liked a couple of their songs. I was not prepared for what an awesome live band they were. They just blew me away. I was a life long fan after that night.

Now that's just too cool. Such a great band.:thumbsup2

All of the Britney Spears concerts I have had a blast at, Justin timberlake was really cool, Jonas brothers and Demi Lovato were amazing, Taylor Swift was awesome, and the NSYNC concert I went to is something I will always remember.

I enjoyed the Def Leppard concert I went to in Kissimmee a few years ago..and I also enjoyed seeing Cyndi Lauper at Universal as well..

I hope to add Roger Waters to that list in a month..

The most fun I had at a concert was a Big and Rich concert. High energy and very entertaining. I am not a country music fan either.

Gloria Estefan was what I would call fun. By no means my favorite but it was a lot of fun. Ricky Iglesias was also fun, took my daughter and sat in the front row. I think he was wondering who is this old man sitting up front. :rotfl2: But that too was fun, he put on a nice show.

If we are going on fun factor.............

Barenaked Ladies. DD and I went with a couple of friends to a concert that had several acts with a couple of the other performers in mind. Barenaked Ladies got up on the stage and blew everyone else away. They were funny and had some great songs to sing along with. They hadn't even been on our radar but they ended up being our favorite act that night.

Tom Jones. My friend and I went to see him a few years ago and ended up being among the youngest in the audience (and we are by no means young). His fans were still very enthusiastic, he still has his hip swivel going on, and bras were floating through the crowd up to the stage. The people watching alone made this concert priceless. We had such a good time.

Fun but not in my top 10 of favorite bands.

Police Synchronicity tour (I think it was summer of 1983?)

Crosby Stills Nash and Young at the UN!!(Small private concert):thumbsup2

Beach Boys at Jones Beach Theater

I am a member of the Peter Noone Fan Club. (Herman's Hermits) (That makes me an official Noonatic!:rotfl:)

I've been to many of Peter's concerts but whenever Peter appears at Epcot for the Flower Power concert series, I'm in heaven!:cloud9:

Hands down, the Dave Matthews Band. He is incredible live. That man has so much energy!

A very close second would have to be the Eagles.

For me it was Three Dog Night
I think I have seen them 5 times since I was 15.
I also loved KC and the Sunshine band
(I know I am showing my AGE)

Janet Jackson, the Velvet Rope Tour. Best concert I have ever been too. High energy, tons of costume changes, large fun sets, great music, cool lighting, and she even brought someone on stage from the audience at one point!

The Beatles, Hermans Hermits, Bette Midler, Neil Diamond, Celine Dion, Liza Minelli (when she was VERY young), Mary Chapin Carpenter, and Elton John (twice).

Saw TransSiberian Orchestra last year. It was awesome! High enrgy, amazing light show and just love their christmas music.
