Which CM Costume Would You Wear ?

During our family trip, I was wondering which CM's costume would I would want to wear. So I asked the rest of my family & decided it would be fun to make this a thread !

So, if you can remember, which CM costume would you want to wear?

I really like the blue & white dress that the dancers wear when they come out w/ the Grand Marshals of the day. I'm not a dress person, but I think it looks cute and it has Sleeping Beauty's Castle on it.
I also like the silver Tomorrowland jackets. Their blue and green shirts look awful though.
I've constructed my own CM custodial costume and a lot of ppl thought I was the real deal so that was fun.
My Dapper Dan costume looked like the real deal too and it made some security ppl not very happy. Could they not see that I'm a girl?!? Oh well, at least the Dappers liked it.

What a fun question!

I always look a bit longingly at the costumed CMs, especially in the shops on Main Street and think about how wonderful it would be to feel transported to another era and be a part of the Disney magic - while at work.

Then I read Rainforest_Elf's trip report - she share's a picture of a heavily-robed CM and remarks on how miserable she must be in the So Cal heat - a big dose of reality!

I would LOOOOOOOOVE to dress as the bell hops at TOT, although I'd like to pair it with whitened dead makeup to add to the effect !!!


My second choice would also be for the women's costumes in HM !! TOOOO cool. I think it would just be so cool to be creepy

...Anywho, I would have to say Haunted Mansion, hands down. I love the macarbre green of their striped butler suits. I'd enjoy saying "DEAD CENTER" all day to guests

If I had to pick others though, I would also say HM, Indiana, and Space.

I ALWAYS go "oooohhh! I want to wear that costume!!".

My favorites:

HM ladies costume - I like the bow in their hair that they wear.
Pirate's both men and ladies costume - I love love the striped socks.
TOT - I really want to wear that little bell hop hat! It's sooo awesome!
Buzz - Because I like how their costumes really look like Buzz lightyear's body..

Agreed. I even snapped a pic of the socks on my solo trip, b/c I love them so much.

This is awesome! My DD's have been bugging DH and myself to dress up for the Halloween party but I can't come up with easy, fun costumes. This is perfect, I never thought of dressing like a CM. I'll have to go through my picts from last trip and see if I can copy them. My DH had us take picts with a few CMs on our last trip thinking it would be fun- I thought he was weird until now!

I like the outfits they were at the Matterhorn (do they wear the same ones all over fantasyland too? I can't recall.) I especially love the coats they get to wear when it's cold out.

I also like the tour guide outfits that have skirts, knee highs, and I think they carry riding crops. so cute.

EDIT - I just googled it. Apparently no one wears those tour guide outfits anymore. I thought some people still did. Apparently not. how sad. Those were classics.

I am also a huge HM costume fan. I like the HMH hair bows so much I am going to work on making one, after I get all the other costumes done I need to make this year.

I like the light blue Hawaiian type shirts in DCA at Mulholland Maddness and surrounding area.

FWIW...DD did not like wearing the Plaid outfit. Especially the blue velvet helmet. It was kind of hideous. And she always had to wear nylons, I mean who wears nylons in the real world anymore?

She works at the Grand now and her woodsy-type costume is much cuter and way more comfy.
