We are booked at AKL club level for this October. we have previously done that one and poly twice. Looking to book October 2022. Which should we try next?

You’ll likely get 100 opinions, since everyone has their favorites and all resorts/CLs have various pros and cons.

I generally pick location first, resort second, then CL is just a nice sweetener.

I have trouble ranking them, but Poly CL is a personal favorite. I’m curious to see what they do (if anything) with the current renovations. Other favs are CR CL, WL CL, and GDT CL - they really had something good going on there before COVID, in my opinion. We’ve stayed a lot at YC CL, but I think my reasoning has more to do with the YC location than loving the CL product there (although we enjoy it).

My personal favorite is BWI, but that has more to do with location and how they do their evening food (with a chef, it felt more substantial and I could get an actual meal out of it). AK is probably one of my least favorite, but it might have been because I was there over superbowl weekend and they were trying to please those people and throwing that party, so service was different since they took food up early to throw a football party and I didn't care for that. The rest are fine, I still haven't stayed at Poly CL or CR CL (although I have SEEN them, I haven't gotten to actually stay there I've just gotten lucky, and they seem really nice), everyone has their own tastes though.

IMO you can never have enough Poly but as you have been there twice I think one of the EPCOT resorts would be the best choice.

GF! Royal Palm is best ever. Sugar Loaf CL has same food, but the RP CL is so much nicer and not crammed in. And they have mid day food. Many other CLs at wdw only put out trail mix or potato chips and candy mid day. We enjoyed AKL CL too.

We love the RPC at the GF, but that’s getting ridiculously expensive! Our second favorite is the YC. We love being in the BW area, with access to 2 parks and all the resorts you can walk to. We also have really enjoyed the revamped food options at the YC and the staff was great!

I really like RPC and YC but I would stay at any. Sometimes I will just go by price :wizard:

All of the CL food choices are a little bit different (pre pandemic) They seem to emphasize different things. I thought the wines were better at CR, but the food portions were smaller. YC had very nice dinners but I thought some of the breakfast choices were odd, like goat cheese in the morning every day, and some of the dinner choices were repeated. GF had the most choices, with soup at lunch every day and a tea time snack of scones, but it tends to be the highest price. etc

I think picking what park you wish to visit the most is a good start in the process of elimination.
Walking in the door at Poly I know we are in Disney just from the room scent. Love the resort but think the Hawaii needs some serious upgrading for the price charged. A floor of rooms without terraces (and to the best of my knowledge no change in price), unimaginative food offerings, and although we stayed there for a bit over a week the menu was non changing; moving over to BWI was a relief in many ways. The fact that we’ve learned that EPCOT is our favorite park was one of the main factors.

Rate and location aligned to your parks plans. Location and park plans helps in options to access the club more timely to partake in some of its offering. It may also be wise to ensure their offering food and beverages to your expectations, as Disney is making significant changes at the expense of guest as their reopening things

Is club level even open? I thought they weren't offering any club level services yet. I have booked club level at AKDVC 3 times and had to cancel because they weren't offering any club level services. I am curious if I need to start watching for a room again.

It is opening with the resort side end of august

In order:

GF RPC (this was a BIG treat for me)
AKV (all interactions were great, but I was a regular)
BWI
Poly
CR
BC/YC

I want to try WL club at Christmas next, but since you're going in October, I would pick BC/YC. Between club service food and the Food/Wine booths at Epcot, no need for restaurant reservations unless you really want them.

We've stayed at GF RPC many times and it's always been outstanding. Yes, it's extremely expensive but we budget for it all year. We stayed at GF Sugar Loaf once and I have to say that I didn't love it for the price.

For context, once our kids became a bit older we planned our days much differently and found that we spent a lot of time hanging around the resort during the day and we made very good use of the food and drink offerings. GF offers more variety of food and at more times of the day than any other of the resorts and that has always worked well for us. Over the years we've come to know many of the CMs who work there and we always enjoy catching up with them; they have become like old friends. One of my most favourite things about RPC used to be the nightly orchestra. Seriously, this was my ultimate happy place. Now that the Orchestra no longer plays at RPC, I will have to do some serious number crunching to see if it has the same emotional value relative to the actual outrageous price. This is a highly personal thing which probably doesn't mean a lot to others, but I have to say of all the changes/cuts that Disney has made over the years, this one gutted me the most.

Grand Floridian is great. Two wonderful ladies work concierge in main building, Lorette and Gayle.
