Which CL next??? Can't decide!!!!

If you plan on spending any amount of time at the pool, SL is very convenient for that. The SL building is located right next to the courtyard pool, so it's great for grabbing snacks and drinks while relaxing at the pool :thumbsup2.

In the heat of August....oh yeah, we plan on spending time at the pool! ::yes::

I'm really thinking SL might be a good fit for us. :goodvibes

Now I've got to wait for 2014 rates to come out and for word on military discounts. :hyper:

I think SL might just work for you then :thumbsup2. Other than price, the only other main difference is location, as the food offerings are the same in both :goodvibes.

I am also (im)patiently waiting for the 2014 rates to come out so I can start pricing for a July trip....nothing like planning a trip for next year when we haven't even taken our's yet this year :rotfl: :rotfl:.

We already took this years trip in April, but I am going again for 6 days in September with my best friend for Food & Wine....now, we still have planning to do for that one, but have I put nearly as much effort into that one as into this reservation for next year that doesn't yet exist???? :faint:

You sound like me . I haven't decided yet where we are staying prior to our cruise in December that's only 6 months away and I'm chomping at the bit waiting for next year's rates to come out so I can start planning for a trip that's over a year away :rotfl: :rotfl:.

Yes!

The only thing making me nervous about Poly is the potential construction, otherwise, I'd be all over it.

GF SL is a possibility, though I don't see the glowing reviews like I do with RPC, though the foods are the same, correct? And, yes, the proximity to the pool would be fantastic! :worship:

We too are in love with CLs. We stayed at GF SL and the food selection by far was better than any other CL that we stayed at. We did not stay in the GF main building. We love the hotels better in the EPCOT area but the food selection was much better at GF SL.

Good to know!!!! I'm really leaning towards GF SL. :goodvibes

That is good to hear since I just switched from WL to GF SL. I honestly wish I had never tried club level because it really is a budget buster, but it is so hard to give up. This may be the only time we go in value season, and who knows if I'll get 35% off again. I'm going to try and ignore my conscience.

It's so hard!!!! I want to book a regular room and not CL, but I know I'd be thinking about the lounge and the fact that I can't get up there!!! It would drive me nuts!!! :lmao:

Well, my family (2A, 2C) has decided on August 2014 for our next trip. We go annually (just had a wonderful stay at YC back in April). :goodvibes

Unfortunately, after two CL stays (at WL and YC), we find ourselves addicted and committed to trying most of the CL's at Disney. :rotfl:

WL CL was a dream. :cloud9: Delicious food offerings, wonderful staff, wonderful housekeeping...just an amazing experience.

YC CL was nice, but the food offerings left alot to be desired (not a fan of fried, stuffed puff pastries most nights)...we loved YC but probably wouldn't chose CL there again. Feeling like we won't like BC CL any better.

So, next year, I would really like to stay at Poly CL (Poly has been my dream resort since I was 7 but I had been waiting for a refurb as was not a fan of the room decor). Now that there has been a room rehab, I am now worried about DVC construction that is rumored to start at the end of this year...

We also looked at GF, but for CL, I'd want to do main building, which would probably be about $700 more than Poly CL...:scared1: But, we would avoid construction issues....

AKL CL intrigues me, however, its distance from the parks worries me, because to enjoy CL you have to be at the resort, and I'm not looking forward to the hassle of getting back & forth to AKL just to enjoy the offerings. (YC was nice in that regard as we could just walk back from Epcot and DHS, where we spend alot of time).

So, all told, I am mostly down to Poly CL and GF RPC. Which would you chose? We will do our normal 10 or 11 day trip. We are not fond of the idea of a split stay.

I am soooooo torn, help me decide!!! :worship:

I agree I would be curious to see the possible construction issues that might be going on at the Poly in 2014. That would be a big factor in what I would choose. I think RPC would be amazing, if you can swing it financially that would be my first choice! :thumbsup2 :goodvibes I love the GF, I love the theme, I love the pools and the shops, the restaurants are amazing, the boat to MK is great, plus the DVC construction over there will be all done. The only thing that keeps us away from RPC is the money, so if you've got it then go for it!!!! :woohoo: :cloud9:

WOW! I had no idea the military could get 40% off RPC! That is awesome!!! :thumbsup2 With our APs we rarely have many choices when it comes to discounts on CL resorts. Usually all the Epcot resorts are available, but the monorail resorts are tough to get. Good luck making your choice! :)
