On our next trip out to Orlando, DW and I are hoping to do 3 days at US/IoA. 2 of our favorite restaurants at City Walk have always been Margaritaville and Hard Rock Cafe. So these 2 we plan on doing as usual. We want to do one more restaurant at City Walk after the parks close, but can't decide which one. So we decided which ever one our fellow Dis'ers vote for, will be the one we try. And if you don't mind telling us why you chose the one you did, we would certainly appreciate that as well. Thanks in advance.

I voted for Latin Quarter - on our trip we did Latin Quarter, Pastamore and Pat O'Brians - and hands down Latin Quarter blew us away! :goodvibes had the amazing selection / food / service / atmosphere.

Couldn't recommend it any higher actually!

:thumbsup2 I-we love the food and tude there. Some of the best food we ever ate at CW!The only one other would be at the resorts!

Pat's and NBA are a close second.

NBA is more along the lines of NASCAR and Pat's is Irish foods. However, between them 3, I think NASCAR has the best selection from the menu and the food is good and reasonably priced.

NBA I would rate second. We are not basketball fans here, so we only tried it last year (review in '09 trip report). I thought the menu selection was decent and priced good. The food was better than average too....good on par w/ NASCAR.

As for Pat's, while I really like it there, I don't think there is as large as a menu selection. Price is okay and food is good. It could get loud if the dueling pianos are playing. I also feel Pat's is very dark inside...the others are brighter.

I've eaten at all the places you listed except LQ. Pastamore is NOT real italian food..it's restaurant style. Save your time and money and as a last resort.

and, of course Mville and their nachos are the MUST do every year
:thumbsup2

I voted 'Other' because I didn't see an option for Bubba Gumps. My wife likes typical seafood (crab legs, shrimp, lobster), while I prefer fish.

I voted NBA as we have had some great meals there, was surprised, as we considered giving it a miss, now its on our list for every year.
Would have liked more votes, as we always visitr Pastamore and Nascar

We considered this one, and are still considering it. But we have some other seafood places in mind at WDW. So we're trying to mix it up a little. Part of the reason we listed what we listed. Nothing set in stone yet, so we can always change it up. Thanks for the vote.

Thanks for the votes. So far it looks like Latin Quarter is in the lead. I forgot to put in my original post, for those that are voting other; please let us know which other you prefer and why.

My fav dish at LQ is this:Guava BBQ Ribs - A full rack of ribs grilled and served with crispy French fries.

DW's is this:Marinated Roasted Pork Loin - Slow roasted and basted in our sour orange and cilantro mojo. Served with boniato mash and black beans

Oh, those both sound good, especially the BBQ Ribs. This midwest boy loves BBQ Ribs. I'll have to remember that when we finally get to eat there. Hopefully, they don't have the Citywalk upper section closed for a private party in October when we visit, like they did last October.

We're headed out there in October as well. We'll be there for 11 days and 10 nights. So I'm hopeful we can get in one of those days.

It's all sounding good. Now I'm getting hungry. Keep them coming.

Cool! We're there for 5 days/4 nights.

Last year, I only had 1 night (Wednesday) to dine at Citywalk as I did HHN on the Thursday and Friday nights and the RPR Luaua on Saturday night. It just happened that Wednesday night corresponded with a Citywalk private party.

With 10 nights, I would expect that all restaurants should be available for most nights while you're there.

The only Citywalk restaurant we do is Marg'ville for the Volcano nachos. Makes a wonderful, inexpensive lunch. We prefer the restaurants at the hotels to the ones at Citywalk.

I voted other also. Why not take a quick walk over to the Hard Rock Hotel and have nice dinner at "The Kitchen". Its hands down our favorite place to eat when we are at Universal. Its right at the top of our list along with Margaritaville and Mythos. Its a hidden gem, that a lot of people dont know about! Great food, service and atmosphere !!! Try it, you wont regret it!

I had voted for Pastamore which is a good place to eat for dinner for lunch i would prefer marget'ville good place to just chill and the food is pretty good as well.

I love NBA City the food was awesome.

I voted Other because on our December trip we ate at Bob Marley's and I really liked it. Lots of interesting Caribbean food choices (fried plaintains! yum) and it has a funky atmosphere, like you are sitting in someone's living room. The only strange thing was they use plastic spoons, forks, & knives - no biggie. Marley's is something different.
