which characters are aboard the Dream?

I know each boat has different characters (can't remember where I read that) and that only the Fantasy has the princess tea party (bummer). Are there any princesses on the Dream? Any opportunities to meet them and take photos?

What characters are available for photo ops and/or one-on-one interaction?

Thanks Laine

There are the main princesses on the Dream.

Dream typically does 3/4 night cruises and the Fantasy seven nights hence Fantasy has time for a tea party, but its expensive.

Although subject to change, Disney Characters you are likely to see during your cruise may include:

Mickey Mouse
Minnie Mouse
Donald Duck
Daisy Duck
Chip & Dale
Goofy
Pluto
Max
Captain Hook
Peter Pan
Lilo
Stitch
Cinderella
Belle
Snow White
Princess Aurora
Princess Tiana
Ariel
Captain Jack Sparrow
Dopey
Jake
Princess Anna
Queen Elsa

Character Greetings locations, designated around the ship, may include—but are not limited to:

the Lobby Atrium
Gangway
Donald's Pool area
Disney's Oceaneer Lab
Disney's Oceaneer Club
D Lounge

Normally its photo ops, and signing, but its over fast little inter action unless they meet you top deck and there isn't much of a queue.

Concierge meets have character appearances)

Anna and Elsa and Princess meet and greets are a little different than other characters. You will need a ticket for those. The Personal Navigator will list the time you would need to go to the Port Adventures desk to get your tickets. We were on the Dream in May and the Anna/Elsa and Princess meet and greet tickets were distributed between 12:00 and 2:30 on the day of boarding.

Peter Pan can either be difficult to find or difficult to get rid of. He wanders all over the ship stealing children to go get ice cream with weary parents trailing after them or running around the lobby playing hide and seek or Simon says or tag. He is our favorite character to meet.

There were so many characters just walking around on our 4-night Dream cruise last July. Those were in addition to all the scheduled meet & greets everyday.
