If you were only doing one character meal during your stay which one would you chose (we have a 6 and a 9yo girl if that makes any diffference).
At first I was thinking breakfast but then I thought maybe lunch at Cafe Mickey but can you order just a main course or do you have to take the set menu?

We do like Cafe Mickey and have been there on more than one occasion.
It is always dinner we have done but it is highly recommended for lunch as it is quieter

You do not have to order a set menu and could just order a pizza if you want:thumbsup2

Cafe Mickey is a lovely place to eat and you get to meet the main man himself. The other characters vary. We have always had Mickey and Minnie and the others vary ie Captain Hook, Goofy, Gepetto and pinocchio

I'd highly recommend Cafe Mickey, although we've only been at breakfast time and for an evening meal. Breakfast can be a little chaotic, the evening however was superb.
I've just asked my 2 DS's 12 and 7 which restaurant they would most like to eat at on our next trip and they've both opted for the Lucky Nugget Saloon Character Lunch, again a thoroughly enjoyable experience, and a superb buffet choice last time - I couldn't fault it.:)

We did Inventions, CF & The LN.

Based on our experience only, I would thoroughtly recommend The LN as the food had a greater range for picky children, plentifull and hot!. (lunchtime).

The surroundings are lovely and very clean. The characters went around each child at their table and made sure all were seen (rather than a big free for all- Arrggggg) and the stage and music were a lovely addition. The CMs wer quick and friendly.

Whilst I cannot fault CM, I thought the menu was a bit restricted (for us) and the CM's a little slow. Inventions was set in a lovely hotel but the food only average. Good character activity though.

Your little 'uns will enjoy any though - for me, it was the VFM at the LN ( about 80 euros for 3 of us - all you can eat)

Whatever you decide - enjoy :goodvibes

Thank you somuch. I hadn't considered the Lucky Nugget Saloon, hum maybe we will have to do 2 :thumbsup2 My husband seems to think I am crazy trying to plan where we will eat!

I love Cafe Mickey, Lucky Nugget and Inventions ~ sorry, not been much help here! :rotfl:
