Help me choose a character breakfast! At the time of our trip my daughter will be 5 and son will be 3 1/2.

crystal palace. pooh and friends.

Depends on who your family likes..

If they are fans of Mickey: 'Ohana Best Friend's Breakfast is our favorite. It's Mickey, Pluto, Lilo and Stitch. The best breakfast food in our opinion and it is not a buffet.

If they like Pooh and friends: Crystal Palace is very good.

We will be trying out Cape May's breakfast for the first time this September. It has Minnie, Goofy and Donald in beachwear. We are also trying out Chef Mickey's breakfast this year as well. We normally go for dinner at both restaurants. Chef Mickey's is the fab five.

1900 Park Fare has a decent mix of characters and food. Mary Poppins, Alice, Mad Hatter, Pooh and Tigger. The strawberry soup is fantastic.

I can't comment on Akershus princess breakfast or the breakfast at CRT. Since we haven't tried it. Same goes for Tusker House since the change over from being a CS to TS.

We've done all but Cape May Breakfast. Ohana was our favorite, followed by Play n Dine at Hollywood & Vine.

Our daughter was 5 at the time of our trip as well. We were all big fans of Crystal Palace for breakfast. She just loved getting to see Pooh, Tigger, Eeyore and Piglet! We stayed there for a good while after our meal, just because she was having such a good time!! We also had lunch another day at Akershus, and that one was a lot of fun as well. She adored seeing and getting to talk to her favorite princesses. (We had Snow White, Cinderella, Belle, Aurora and Ariel.) The interactions with face characters that talk as opposed to those in complete costume that don't talk are completely different. We found that interactions with face characters were so sweet. She would have great conversations with them and loved getting to talk to them alot. With those in full costume, like Pooh and Eeyore, it was more fun. They really knew how to make her laugh, and she enjoyed hugging on them. Hope you have a great time on your trip!!! Take lots and lots of pictures! =)

Crystal Palace...even now I'm 21 and it's our go to place every trip! Great character interaction with Pooh and Friends and great food!

This is another vote for Crystal Palace in MK. Both DS and DD love this one. As do the adults.

Vote for Crystal Palace with Pooh also Cape May

One that has not been mentioned but is a must do for us every time and where some of my favorite pictures have come from is Garden Grill in Epcot. (Mickey, Pluto, Chip n Dale) It is a family style service and the restaurant slowly rotates around the land too. Character interaction is wonderful.

I totally agree with you and the only reason I didn't say Garden Grill is because they are asking about breakfast and Garden Grill only serves dinner. They used to serve breakfast and it was wonderful. Really wish they would bring it back.

At the ages of 53 and 58, DH and I still love having breakfast with Pooh and friends at the Crystal Palace. We have also done Chef Mickey's, Cape May Cafe and the old Minnie breakfast that has now been replaced by the Stitch one at Ohana (we've not gone since they added Stitch and made it family style).

Our kids favorite when they traveled with us and were young was always the Crystal Palace.

CP!:thumbsup2 Great location, great characters, and great food--love the puffed french toast.:cloud9:

Crystal Palace has a good breakfast buffet & there is with winnie the pooh, eeyore, tiger & piglet.

Another vote for Crystal Palace!!!! :goodvibes

Or Tusker House if you're gonna be in AK!

Akershus is a great one for Epcot!!
