My aunt and I are planning on going to Disneyland on a Saturday in the spring and this time around we want to do a Character Breakfast (first character meal ever for either of us :goodvibes). Which is your favorite? Which has the best food? Which has the best (or most) characters? Any and all advice is greatly appreciated. :listen: Thank you!

All I know is that Lilo and Stitch has Daisy Duck to meet and has a rice cooker for your morning-time rice-eating needs. My Korean DH was happy about that. :)

And yet we're trying Storyteller's this trip!

Have you looked at the menus online? I like the site dl resort info dot com (switch the "dot" and smoosh it together) for her menus, and they were updated in October!

Breakfast at Minnie & Friends. Had an excellent time.

Princess Dinner at Ariels grotto. Service to me was excellent. Food was tasty but ultimately you are paying for the ambiance.

We did Goofy's Kitchen at DL Hotel!! It was just fantastic!! DH said it was just about his favorite thing we did!!

The characters that personally came to our table were: Goofy, Pluto, Chip, Dale, Burt (no Mary) and Balou. They were all darling with my kids, and we got great photos.

The food: WOW! :thumbsup2 So good! Made to order omelettes, creme brulee french toast, Mickey waffles, even chips and salsa, and smoked salmon, sausage, bacon!! All buffet-style, so you can have as much as whatever you would like to try!! We ate at about 9:30, and I am not kidding none of us were hungry until about 4ish!

We have not done any other character breakfasts, so I can't adequately compare....but GK was wonderful, and we did not regret that choice for a minute!

LOVE Storytellers. We typically get the first seating of the day and have nearly the entire restaurant and characters to ourselves. The atmosphere is wonderful and the food delicious! I really believe that they are all probably good and I would choose one based on what characters you would like to see.

About Storytellers, I know you can order off of a regular menu instead of the buffet. Do you still pay the buffet price or do you pay for the item you've ordered on the menu?

You pay menu price if you order from the menu. But most of their BF items are about $15, so you are not saving much unless you share with someone.

You're saving about $5-$6 per adult and more for kids, and that can add up with a family of 5. We always order off the menu at Storyteller's. It saves us money and we get more than enough to eat.

And I'm in  with the banana stuffed french toast. YUM!

This past week Pinnochio was there. We were surprised because we thought only "woodland creatures" were there. Then we remembered that Pinnochio IS made of wood, so he's technically a "woodland creature". :rotfl2:

My family loves the Lilo & Stitch Breakfast, they have buffet and a menu. We're looking forward to going back in a couple of weeks.

We just did Minnie and Friends CB this past Monday. The food was good the characters were great. We got to see Minnie, Captain Hook, Dale, Brer Fox, Cruella DeVille, Tigger, Eeyore and Fairy God Mother I can't remember if that was all. The kids had a blast. Captain Hook stole my son's autogragh book and he had to chase him to get it back this was great because Captain Hook is his favorite Character ever he was even him for Halloween.

What would be the "final seating" for one of the Breakfasts. (most interested in Stich actually)?

We'll be at 3 straight 8am rope drops & wouldn't want to eat early....but maybe for a "final seating"....also approx. price for Stich?

Thanks!

Wow....3 villians (Hook, Fox & hottie Cruella)....is this the Bfast in the park? Just Bfast? or lunch too?

hound <-----always wanted a "Villians Meal". :scared1:

We have really enjoyed our experiences at Lilo & Stitch's breakfast.:thumbsup2

Bumping....cause i want to know the latest that they serve meals for breakfast at Lilo & Stich.

Also, because i want to know about Minnie & Friends (did anyone else have Hook, Fox, & Cruella?) & is that the Character Meal next to the HUB? & is it served all day?

(previous page has two of my posts that elaborate.)

Thanks. :thumbsup2

Hound109 yes that one was at the Plaza Inn just off the Hub. We had a 9:10 seating on an EE day. So we went and did all the FL rides first then the kids were ready for a break and we were all hungry. I'm not sure what times it goes until. But they were still seating people when we left at 10:00. We only waited until we seen all the Characters. Fairy Godmother was the last one. I never thought of the 3 of them as Villians but yep we got 3. The kids loved it and DH loved Cruella lol.

Minnie & Friends has doors closing at 11:00 and food there until 11:30. PI starts lunch at noon (cafeteria style, no characters).

Ice Skate Jen....thanks for the info. (Late Breakfast might work good.) :thumbsup2

BraMax....Thanks for the great idea on this. I know it's a cr*pshoot who we might get, but i was thinking on our last day after EE & touring a little, this might be fun. :hippie:

Yeah, sounds like your DH & I like the "bad girls". :rotfl:

Or as I would describe DW when we were dating......"When she's good, she's good.....& when she's bad, she's wonderful." :thumbsup2

hound - :yay:
