Our two choices are:

A) Les Chefs de France @ 3:50 for the 6:45 show

B) Coral Reef @ 5:30 for the 8:15 show

We've never eaten at either place and it's the first time for the Candlelight Processional too. Our kids are 11, 8 & 6.

TIA!

Anyone else? I have to believe there are more people out there w/ an opinion :goodvibes!!

Also, if you could explain why you would pick one over the other that would be great (show time, food, etc.)!

It's funny. Last year we had that same exact dining time. 3:50 at Chefs de France for the 6:45 show. It worked out well. We liked the restuarant, and the time worked out well. It was dark by the time of the show, but got done early enough that the kids weren't totally worn out. My kids were 7 and 5 at the time. Since you have 2 younger ones, I would probably go with the earlier time. And I want to point out that my son is totally picky about what he eats, and he liked the food there.

I agree with the PP. There were a couple of reasons I chose the way I did.

1. Although I've never been to Chefs, we're also trying it for the first time in December (also for the CP package!). We've been to Coral Reef and it was okay. The experience was cool but I wouldn't rush back because of the food.

2. With your kids in mind, I think the earlier show might be a good idea, especially for the younger two.

3. Also, thinking about the distance from the restaurant to the American pavilion for the show, Coral Reef if much further than Chefs. I'm not saying you should never try Coral Reef, but I think for the package, I would pick Chefs (mainly due to the distance factor).

Good luck with your choice!

I would do the Chefs. We are also seeing the 6:45 show, that gives of plenty of time to find our illuminations places later in the night.

I voted for Chefs. We are doing the exact pkg. on dec. 9th but no kids.

As the other posters have said, its a hike with kids from coral reef to the show line and you dont want to feel rushed through dinner. And also for the preferred illuminations viewing. If you get there after the 2nd show you wont feel rushed either.

With our kids we did mexico and beirgarten, only because I was too cheap to do a tier 3 with them etc.

Coral reef is nice to go to if you werent feeling too rushed and didnt have the cp etc.

If you are eating at chefs you will get in the line for the cp sooner so you might get a better seat as compared to walking all the way from coral reef and getting on line etc.

Great! Thank you everyone - sounds pretty unanimous :goodvibes!

So, should we get in line right away after dinner? I figure we should be done eating around 5:15ish. Seems like a long time until the 6:45 show? Maybe we can tour some of the storytellers while we wait?
