Which camera to take to WDW?

DSLR vs Point and Shoot vs iPhone?

I have 2 young kids so I'll have a backpack and I have neck issues and can't ride thrill rides so factor that information in...

Either, or both. It kind of depends on what you intend to shoot. Is it basically your standard "this was my vacation" pictures? Or is it more "look at this great shot" kind of pictures? A bit of both?

IMHO it's not so much the camera as the user in most cases (I said most) that said, I will be taking my iphone with extra battery case, plus I will toss my good old point and shoot into my bag b/c it's waterproof and I love pool pics.....In most cases a regular iphone takes really great pics. (just ask National Geographic ) There are a few(very few) people who bring the 'big stuff',and take incredible pics though.... that's a lot of carrying around IMHO and I like to travel light.

Last visit I took my DSLR as well as my point and shoot. Loved having the ability of switching lenses for the best shots.... especially at AK.

October 2013 we took our first trip to DL and I used my bridge camera there. It was ideal!!

Wouldn't go to DL or WDW without a REAL camera.

I carry my DSLR most days when going to the parks. I just like the quality of the photos that it takes. I use a cross body messenger type bag that suits the camera and me just fine. I will put the camera in the bag for the more jarring rides.

I take my DSLR for daytime pictures. At night a camera phone works for me.

Disney is all about details, I can capture those details better with a DSLR.

PS You can see better thru a DSLR when it is sunny out then with a point and shoot.

I used to use a DSLR but repeatedly found it to be too clunky and annoying to carry through the parks. Just recently I switched to a Samsung Galaxy 2 Camera and I love it!!!

I take both. Some days I take my dslr, others just my phone. I have a new iPhone 6 so the camera is much better then my old iPhone 4! It did great on our trip in October.
