Which buildings OK at HoJo?

We are planning our first trip to DL for March 7 with my 3 kids (2,5,8yrs old) and staying at the HoJo primarily because of the kiddie pool for my youngest and I heard they have slightly larger rms.

I've read numerous things about one of the buildings at the HoJo being really noisy from the freeway noise-I read in one post it was bldg 2 so called and requested any building but 2. Now I read somewhere else that 2 is the quietest!
Can someone straighten me out? I'm only registed for a standard rm so I'm sure I won't have a park view but just not sure what to request.

I have never had a problem with noise and I have stayed there over 20 times. My favorite room is building one. I love the skylight rooms, but some hate the morning sun waking them up. I think it is refreshing and gets me up earlier (which I want to do if I am at Disneyland).

I have stayed at the HoJo a dozen times. We have stayed in Bldgs. 1 and 2. The only time we have encountered freeway noise was when we were in Bldg. 1, premium/park view, but we were closest to the freeway. If you want a guaranteed quiet premium/park view room, you need to request a room closest to the hotel lobby.

Now that we are veterans, we always choose Bldg. 2, deluxe room near the quiet pool. If you put those requests in your reservation, you will have a very quiet room.

We've only stayed at HOJO once, and it was in building 2 facing the pool (iow, away from the freeway). Niiiiice room, extremely quiet.

We also were in 2 facing the quiet pool and you could literally hear the crickets if you strained, that's how quiet it was. I prefer one just because I like to be close and up higher, but 2 is definitely quiet facing the pool!
