Which building (non preferred) closes to main pool?

I haven't stayed at CBR in many years. Which building should I ask for that is not preferred but is close to the main pool and main building (check in)?

Jamaica 45, Aruba 51, Martinique 21, 22 or 23.

AT CBR the check in building and lobby are only just for that, checking in and checking out, or taking care of room issues. Old Port Royal with the restaurants and store are the "main building" with a park bus stop and near the main pool area you are referring to. The buildings the OP listed will get you closer to Old Port Royal. CBR is the only moderate with this set up, the lobby building is not close to the "main building".

I wouldn't call any of the non preferred rooms close to the main pool. If you want to be close, definitely pay for a preferred room.

There are 4 buildings with Standard rooms that are actually closer than 2 of the buildings with Preferred rooms.

Correct. My only point was that there are over 160 standard rooms that are closer to OPR and the Main Feature Pool than some Preferred rooms.

We requested Martinique (no special building) as standard reservation and got it. Not too far from the pool, a short walk to the food court and main pool. Close to parking and the bus stop (which was the mid-way stop on the loop).

We had a room in Jamacia next to the quiet pool. Loved this location, it was a short walk across the bridge to OPR, and pleasant. Bus stop was just across the parking lot, and we were next to the quiet pool and beach. Loved the hammocks on the beach.
