Which building in Magnolia Bend? (for a standard view)

If you had your choice between Acadian House and Oak Manor at Port Orleans, which would you choose?

You can get standard rooms at either buildings, but Oak Manor only has royal rooms. Were you looking to book just regular standard? If so I would request the Magnolia building.

We stayed there 2 years ago and stayed in the magnola bend area.

I initially requested the magnolia building, but we were given a room in Acadian House.
I must say we loved the location of that building. Very short walk to the main pool and bus stop, and
a beautiful easy walk to the main building as well.
I would easily request that building again, so my vote is for Acadian

Oak Mannor only has Royal Rooms which are more expensive and a separate booking category. If you are just looking for a standard view room in Magnolia Bend, the two buildings are Acadian House and Magnolia Terrace. I like Magnolia Terrace best and always request it. But I know that this is only a request and I could even end up in Aligator Bayou, but so far I never have.

I'll be happy with either. My very first request will be to be placed in close proximity to the other family traveling with us. But I'm also concerned we might be placed too close (envisioning connecting rooms) but I can live with that if I have too.

The other thing I like is the odds of us getting either a ground floor room or a top floor room. That's great!
